Description

The present invention relates to a pump-type dispenser.

A known pump-type dispenser includes a cap that is attached to the mouth of a container, a pump that is held at the mouth by the cap and is driven by the back and forth movement of a stem, and a head that is connected to the stem; the liquid contents in the container are dispensed from the head's outlet by moving the head toward the cap (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

As shown in Patent Document 1, inside such a pump-type dispenser, a coil spring is provided to return the head, which has been moved toward the cap, to its initial position.

However, while most of the components of this type of pump dispenser are made of synthetic resin, the coil spring is made of metal. For this reason, when it is discarded after use, it cannot be recycled as a resin product in this state. Furthermore, in general, in this type of pump dispenser, the components are firmly fixed to each other, for example by fitting, to prevent them from coming loose during normal use. Therefore, it takes time to disassemble the pump dispenser and separate the coil spring from the other components.

The present invention aims to solve these problems by proposing a pump-type dispenser that can dispense the liquid contents in the same way as conventional dispensers, and that also has excellent recyclability.

The present invention relates to a pump-type dispenser comprising: a cap that is attached to the mouth of a container that contains a liquid content; a pump that is held at the mouth by the cap and is driven by the back and forth movement of a stem; and a head that has a discharge port for discharging the liquid content to the outside and is connected to the stem, the head being moved toward the cap to discharge the liquid content in the container from the discharge port,
The head is provided with an extension portion extending toward the cap,
the cap is provided with an outwardly inclined elastic piece that is bent by the extension portion in a direction away from the central axis of the stem when the head is advanced toward the cap, and a cap peripheral wall that surrounds the outwardly inclined elastic piece;
This pump-type dispenser is provided with an auxiliary elastic piece on either the outwardly-inclined elastic piece or the peripheral wall of the cap, which is pressed against the other of the outwardly-inclined elastic piece or the peripheral wall of the cap and bends when the outwardly-inclined elastic piece bends in a direction away from the central axis, thereby applying an elastic force to the outwardly-inclined elastic piece.

the cap has a base including the outwardly collapsing elastic pieces and to which the cap peripheral wall is attached,
The cap peripheral wall includes the auxiliary elastic piece,
It is preferable that the auxiliary elastic piece contacts the outwardly collapsing elastic piece in a state where the auxiliary elastic piece is bent in a direction away from the base when the cap peripheral wall is attached to the base.

the cap has a base including the outwardly collapsing elastic pieces and to which the cap peripheral wall is attached,
The outwardly collapsing elastic piece includes the auxiliary elastic piece,
It is preferable that the auxiliary elastic piece contacts the cap peripheral wall in a state where the auxiliary elastic piece is bent in a direction approaching the base when the cap peripheral wall is attached to the base.

It is preferable that the cap has an inwardly inclined elastic piece that is bent in a direction approaching the central axis of the stem by the extension when the head is advanced toward the cap.

According to the pump-type dispenser of the present invention, when the head is moved toward the cap, the pair of outwardly inclined elastic pieces are bent away from the central axis of the stem by the extension, so that the head can be returned to its initial position when the bent outwardly inclined elastic pieces are restored. Furthermore, an auxiliary elastic piece is provided on one of the outwardly inclined elastic pieces and the cap peripheral wall, and when the outwardly inclined elastic piece is bent, the auxiliary elastic piece is pressed against the other of the outwardly inclined elastic piece and the cap peripheral wall, thereby applying an elastic force to the outwardly inclined elastic piece. In other words, when the head returns, both the elastic force of the outwardly inclined elastic piece and the elastic force of the auxiliary elastic piece act, so that the head can be returned more reliably. Therefore, even when a pump with a relatively large sliding resistance when operated is used, the head can be returned to its initial position without any problems. In addition, when a deformable elastic piece such as an outwardly inclined elastic piece is repeatedly bent with a relatively large load, it can become sagging and lose its restoring ability. However, in the pump-type dispenser of the present invention, the head is returned to its original position by both the outwardly inclined elastic piece and the auxiliary elastic piece, so the load received by the outwardly inclined elastic piece can be reduced, thereby suppressing the effects of sagging.

Here, the cylinder 1, the valve member 2, the internal member 5, the piston 6, the cylindrical member 7, and the holder 8 are members that constitute the "pump" in this specification, and the cap body 10 and the cap cover 11 are members that constitute the "cap" in this specification. The cap body 10 corresponds to the "base" in this specification. Among the above-mentioned members, the valve member 2, the piston 6, and the packing 9 are made of elastic soft synthetic resin (e.g., polyethylene (LDPE, HDPE, foamed PE)), and the other members are made of hard synthetic resin (e.g., polypropylene (PP), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polyacetal (POM), polyketone (POK) resin, etc.). Each component that constitutes the pump-type dispenser 100 is basically shaped around the central axis O.

The cylinder 1 has a disk-shaped bottom wall 1a with a central protruding upward, a cylindrical tube wall 1b that stands up from the outer edge of the bottom wall 1a, and a flange wall 1c that extends radially outward from the upper part of the tube wall 1b. A through hole (suction port 1d) is provided in the protruding central part of the bottom wall 1a. A cylindrical retaining tube 1e that surrounds the suction port 1d and extends downward to hold the pipe 4 is provided on the underside of the bottom wall 1a. A through hole (vent hole 1f) is provided in the tube wall 1b.

The valve member 2 has a base 2a, a valve body 2b that covers the suction port 1d and seats on the upper surface of the bottom wall 1a, and an elastically deformable connecting piece 2c that connects the base 2a and the valve body 2b. The valve member 2 functions as a check valve, and when the pressure inside the cylinder 1 is reduced, the valve body 2b that has been closing the suction port 1d moves away from the bottom wall 1a to open the suction port 1d.

In this embodiment, the base 2a is cylindrical with a lid and has an opening (not shown) through which the liquid content passes after passing through the suction port 1d. The base 2a is fitted and held against the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical wall portion 1b, so that the valve member 2 is held within the cylinder 1.

The pipe 4 is hollow, and its upper end is inserted into the retaining tube 1e and is held in place by fitting therein.

The holder 8 has a portion located radially outward of the stem 7a and a portion located radially outward of the enlarged diameter portion 7b, and is equipped with a holder base 8a that is fitted and held against the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical wall portion 1b. A flange 8b extending radially outward is provided at the upper end of the holder base 8a. The holder 8 prevents the internal member 5, piston 6, and cylindrical member 7 from slipping out of the cylinder 1.

The packing 9 is in the shape of a circular ring plate, and is inserted into and held in the cylindrical wall portion 1b of the cylinder 1. When the pump-type dispenser 100 is attached to a container (not shown), the packing 9 is sandwiched between the mouth of the container and the flange wall 1c. This prevents problems such as the contents spilling out of the mouth when the container is turned over, for example.

The cap body 10 has a disk-shaped top wall 10a with a through hole in the center. The outer edge of the top wall 10a is provided with a lower peripheral wall 10b extending downward. The upper part of the inner peripheral surface of the lower peripheral wall 10b can bulge radially inward to fit and hold the flange wall 1c, thereby holding the cylinder 1 in the cap body 10. The inner peripheral surface of the lower peripheral wall 10b is provided with a female threaded portion 10c that screws into a male threaded portion provided in the mouth of the container, and the cap body 10 can be attached to the container by screwing the male threaded portion and the female threaded portion 10c. And at the part where the top wall 10a and the lower peripheral wall 10b are connected, a recessed portion 10d extending around the entire circumference is provided as shown in the partial enlarged view of FIG. 1, and a claw-shaped engagement protrusion 10e is provided on the peripheral surface of the recessed portion 10d.

As shown in FIG. 1, the cap body 10 includes a plate-shaped outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f that extends upward from the upper surface of the top wall 10a and is elastically deformable radially outward. As shown in FIG. 3, the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f in this embodiment is arc-shaped about the central axis O in a plan view. The upper end of the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f is inclined so as to widen radially outward as it extends upward. In this embodiment, one outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f is provided on each of the front side and the back side (two in total) so as to face the central axis O.

As shown in FIG. 2, the cap body 10 further includes a plate-shaped inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g that extends upward from the upper surface of the top wall 10a and is elastically deformable radially inward. In this embodiment, the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g is arc-shaped about the central axis O in a plan view as shown in FIG. 3. The upper end of the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g is inclined so as to narrow radially inward as it extends upward. In this embodiment, a total of two inwardly inclined elastic pieces 10g are provided, and each inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g is provided in a position adjacent to each of the two outwardly inclined elastic pieces 10f (on the left and right sides of the central axis O in this embodiment). As shown in FIG. 3, the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f is located radially outward of the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g.

The cap cover 11 has a cylindrical cap peripheral wall 11a. When attaching the cap cover 11 to the cap body 10, the cap peripheral wall 11a is inserted into the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f and the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g before attaching the head 12, and the lower end of the cap peripheral wall 11a is further inserted into the recess 10d. In addition, as shown in the partially enlarged view of FIG. 1, the inner peripheral surface at the lower end of the cap peripheral wall 11a is provided with an engagement recess 11b that engages with the engagement protrusion 10e, and the cap cover 11 is held in place by the engagement of the engagement protrusion 10e and the engagement recess 11b to the cap body 10. When the cap cover 11 is attached, the cap peripheral wall 11a surrounds the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f and the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g, which makes it impossible to directly see the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f and the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g from the side, improving the appearance. Furthermore, an inward flange 11c that extends radially inward is provided at the upper end of the cap peripheral wall 11a, and this inward flange 11c makes the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f and the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g invisible from above, further improving the appearance.

The cap cover 11 also has auxiliary elastic pieces 11d that are integrally connected to the inner peripheral surface of the cap peripheral wall 11a. In this embodiment, a total of six auxiliary elastic pieces 11d are provided at equal intervals in the circumferential direction as shown in FIG. 3. Before the cap cover 11 is attached to the cap body 10, the auxiliary elastic pieces 11d extend at an inclination downward as they move radially inward as shown in FIG. 2. Of the six auxiliary elastic pieces 11d, the auxiliary elastic piece 11d that faces the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g when the cap cover 11 is attached to the cap body 10 contacts the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g in a state that is almost the same as before the cap cover 11 is attached to the cap body 10, or is slightly separated from the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g, as shown in FIG. 2. On the other hand, the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f is located radially outward of the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 1, when the cap cover 11 is moved downward relative to the cap body 10 to attach the cap cover 11, the auxiliary elastic piece 11d facing the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f is inverted so as to bend upward as shown in the figure, because the cap peripheral wall 11a to which the base portion is connected moves downward relative to the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f with its tip portion in immovable contact with the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f, and is maintained in that state.

The head 12 is cylindrical and has a tubular portion 12a into which the stem 7a is inserted and fitted. The upper portion of the tubular portion 12a is provided with a top portion 12b whose upper surface is shaped so as to be concave downward and which has a passage inside that leads to the tubular portion 12a. The top portion 12b is provided with a nozzle 12c which is cylindrical and extends radially outward and leads to a passage provided inside the top portion 12b. The tip of the nozzle 12c is provided with a discharge port 12d through which the content liquid is discharged by the pump type discharger 100.

The head 12 also includes an extension 12e that extends downward from the top 12b and the nozzle 12c. In this embodiment, the extension 12e is cylindrical and centered on the central axis O. The lower end (tip) of the extension 12e is inclined so as to narrow radially inward as it extends generally downward, as shown in Figures 1 and 2 and Figures 4 and 5. Note that in Figures 1 and 2,
The outward-inclined elastic piece 10f and the inward-inclined elastic piece 10g extend vertically, and the lower end of the extension portion 12e is illustrated as overlapping with the upper ends of the outward-inclined elastic piece 10f and the inward-inclined elastic piece 10g; however, in reality, this overlap is eliminated, and the outward-inclined elastic piece 10f is slightly tilted radially outward, and the inward-inclined elastic piece 10g is slightly tilted radially inward, and the head 12 moves to its upper limit (rearward limit).

In the pump-type dispenser 100 constructed of such members, before the head 12 is pressed, as shown in Figures 1 and 2, the tip of the extension 12e is in contact with the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f and the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g, and the head 12 is in an elevated state (the head 12 is retracted from the cap body 10). In this state, as shown in Figure 1, the auxiliary elastic piece 11d facing the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f is in contact with the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f in an upwardly bent state, and the elastic force of the auxiliary elastic piece 11d acts on the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f, so that the head 12 can be reliably moved to the upper limit.

When the head 12 is pressed from above to lower it (the head 12 is advanced toward the cap body 10), the stem 7a is pushed down together with the head 12 (the stem 7a moves toward the cap body 10 along the central axis O) as shown in Figures 4 and 5. As the stem 7a is pushed down, the bottom 5b also descends via the connecting tube 5a, and the liquid-tight contact between the annular part 5d and the lower part of the inner sliding piece 6c is released. When the head 12 is further pressed down, the piston 6 also descends together with the cylindrical member 7 and the internal member 5, and the inside of the cylinder 1 is pressurized. As a result, the liquid in the cylinder 1 passes through the communication port 5c, passes through the connecting tube 5a, the stem 7a, the cylindrical part 12a, the passage provided inside the top 12b, and the inside of the nozzle 12c, and is discharged from the discharge port 12d to the outside world. When the head 12 is pressed and the piston 6 descends below the vent 1f, the container (not shown) communicates with the outside world through the vent 1f. This prevents the pressure inside the container from becoming negative even if the amount of liquid contained in the container decreases, preventing the container from being deformed or crushed.

When the head 12 is pressed down, the extension 12e exerts a pressing force on the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f and the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g, so that the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f bends radially outward and the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g bends radially inward. The auxiliary elastic piece 11d facing the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f is bent further upward by the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f bending radially outward as shown in FIG. 4.

When the pressure on the head 12 is then released, the elastic forces of the elastically deformed outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f, inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g, and auxiliary elastic piece 11d act on the head 12, causing it to begin to rise. As a result, the piston 6 rises together with the internal member 5 while the lower part of the inner sliding piece 6c comes into liquid-tight contact with the annular portion 5d again, reducing the pressure inside the cylinder 1. As a result, the valve body portion 2b separates from the bottom wall portion 1a, opening the suction port 1d, and the liquid content in the container can be sucked into the cylinder 1 through the pipe 4.

In this way, the pump-type dispenser 100 of this embodiment can return the head 12 after discharging the liquid content without using a metal coil spring, and can be used in the same way as a conventional pump-type dispenser. In addition, elastic pieces that can be bent and deformed, such as the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f, the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g, and the auxiliary elastic piece 11d, can become worn and lose their restorability when repeatedly bent with a relatively large load. However, in the pump-type dispenser 100, the load acting on each elastic piece can be reduced by sharing the load among the three types of elastic pieces, so that the effect of the wear can be suppressed. In addition, since the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f bends in the opposite direction to the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g, a force that twists the extension part 12e also acts between the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f and the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g. Therefore, the head 12 can be returned more reliably.

1 to 5, the auxiliary elastic piece 11d is provided on the cap peripheral wall 11a, but an auxiliary elastic piece 10h may be provided on the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f, as in the modified pump type dispenser 100A shown in Fig. 6. In this embodiment, the auxiliary elastic piece 10h extends at an upward incline as it moves radially outward, as shown by the imaginary line in Fig. 6, before the cap cover 11 is attached to the cap body 10. However, when the cap cover 11 is moved downward relative to the cap body 10 in attaching the cap cover 11 to the cap body 10, its tip portion moves downward together with the cap peripheral wall 11a while being in immovable contact with the cap peripheral wall 11a, so that it is inverted so as to bend downward, as shown by the solid line in Fig. 6, and maintained in that state. That is, even in the modified pump-type dispenser 100A, before the head 12 is pressed, the tip of the extension 12e contacts the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f and the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g, causing the head 12 to be in a raised state, and the auxiliary elastic piece 10h is in a downwardly bent state and contacts the cap peripheral wall 11a, so that the elastic force of the auxiliary elastic piece 10h acts on the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f, allowing the head 12 to be reliably moved to the upper limit.

Although not shown, when the head 12 is pressed down from the state shown in FIG. 6, the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f bends radially outward, and the inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g bends radially inward. The auxiliary elastic piece 10h provided on the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f is bent further downward than in the state shown in FIG. 6 due to the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f bending radially outward. Therefore, when pressure on the head 12 is released, the elastic forces of the elastically deformed outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f, inwardly inclined elastic piece 10g, and auxiliary elastic piece 10h act on the head 12, so that the head 12 can be reliably moved to the upper limit.

Furthermore, the extension portion 12e is not limited to being cylindrical, and may be, for example, rectangular.

The number of auxiliary elastic pieces 11d, 10h can also be changed as appropriate, and is not limited to six as described above, but may be five or less or seven or more. In the above-described embodiment, as shown in Fig. 3, a plurality of auxiliary elastic pieces 11d are arranged in the circumferential direction, and the interval (circumferential interval) between adjacent auxiliary elastic pieces 11d is set to be narrower than the circumferential length of the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f. Therefore, when attaching the cap cover 11 to the cap body 10, the auxiliary elastic piece 11d can be brought into contact with the outwardly inclined elastic piece 10f regardless of the circumferential orientation of the cap cover 11. In particular, in the above-described embodiment, the auxiliary elastic pieces 11d are all the same shape, while the inward-inclined elastic pieces 10g are provided at positions where the tips of the auxiliary elastic pieces 11d are in contact with the inward-inclined elastic pieces 10g (slightly spaced apart from the inward-inclined elastic pieces 10g), and the outward-inclined elastic pieces 10f are located radially outward of the inward-inclined elastic pieces 10g, so that when the cap cover 11 is attached to the cap body 10, the auxiliary elastic pieces 11d facing the inward-inclined elastic pieces 10g are inclined downward as shown in Fig. 2, and the auxiliary elastic pieces 11d facing the outward-inclined elastic pieces 10f are inverted so as to bend upward as shown in Fig. 1, regardless of the circumferential orientation of the cap cover 11. That is, according to the above-described embodiment, when attaching the cap cover 11 to the cap body 10, it is not necessary to align the cap cover 11 with respect to the cap body 10 in the circumferential direction. However, the pump-type discharger according to the present invention is not limited to this, and for example, two auxiliary elastic pieces 11d may be provided to face the central axis O, and the cap cover 11 may be attached to the cap body 10 so that each auxiliary elastic piece 11d faces the outwardly falling elastic piece 10f. When configured in this way, it is preferable to provide a circumferential positioning means (for example, a positioning protrusion is provided in the recess 10d of the cap body 10, and a positioning recess that engages with the positioning protrusion is provided in the cap peripheral wall 11a of the cap cover 11) to determine the circumferential positions of the cap body 10 and the cap cover 11.

In addition, in Figures 1 and 6, the auxiliary elastic pieces 11d and 10h are bent before the head 12 is pressed, but they may not be bent in this state, but may be bent when the head 12 is pressed and the outwardly collapsing elastic piece 10f is bent radially outward.
