Abstract
Description

Claims (19)
- 人の頸部またはその近くにある腫瘍を治療するか、または転移を防ぐ方法であって、
第1の重心を有する電極素子の第1のセットを、前記第1の重心が前記人の頭部に位置決めされた状態で前記人の頭部に貼り付けるステップと、
電極素子の第2のセットを前記人の胸部に貼り付けるステップと、
電極素子の前記第1のセットと電極素子の前記第2のセットとの間に交流電圧を印加するステップとを含み、
印加する前記ステップは、電極素子の前記第1のセットおよび前記第2のセットを貼り付けた後に実行される、方法。 - 前記第1および第2のセットの前記電極素子は、容量結合される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 電極素子の前記第1のセットと電極素子の前記第2のセットとの間に印加される前記交流電圧は、100kHzから300kHzの間の周波数を有する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 電極素子の前記第1のセットは、並列に配線された複数の電極素子を備え、電極素子の前記第2のセットは、並列に配線された複数の電極素子を備える請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の重心は、前記頭部の頭頂に位置決めされる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の重心は、前記人の頭部の上側表面に位置決めされる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 電極素子の前記第2のセットは、首の付け根のすぐ下に位置決めされる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 被験者の身体への電極素子の第1および第2のセットの位置決めを計画する方法であって、
所与の周波数で、前記被験者の身体内の、人の頸部またはその近くに位置する、解剖学的体積の電気伝導率または電気抵抗率の3Dモデルを取得するステップと、
前記解剖学的体積内の標的組織の場所を識別するステップと、
電極素子の前記第1および第2のセットに対する複数のレイアウトに関連付けられている電界を、前記それぞれのレイアウト、電気伝導率または電気抵抗率の前記3Dモデル、および前記標的組織の前記識別された場所に基づき分析するステップと、
前記分析の結果に基づき前記複数のレイアウトのうちの1つを選択するステップとを含み、
電極素子の前記第1のセットは、第1の重心を有し、
前記複数のレイアウトの各々において、(a)電極素子の前記第1のセットは、前記第1の重心が前記人の頭部に位置決めされた状態で前記人の頭部に位置決めされ、(b)電極素子の前記第2のセットは、前記人の胸部に位置決めされる、方法。 - 前記第1の重心は、前記頭部の頭頂に位置決めされる請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の重心は、前記人の頭部の上側表面に位置決めされる請求項8に記載の方法。
- 電極素子の前記第2のセットは、首の付け根のすぐ下に位置決めされる請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記所与の周波数は、100kHzから300kHzの間にある請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記選択されたレイアウトに対応する位置において電極素子の前記第1および第2のセットを前記被験者の身体に貼り付けるステップと、
前記標的組織に電界をかけるように、前記貼り付けるステップに続いて電極素子の前記第1のセットと前記第2のセットとの間に電気信号を印加するステップとをさらに含む請求項8に記載の方法。 - 電気伝導率または電気抵抗率の前記3Dモデルは、電気伝導率の3Dモデルである請求項8に記載の方法。
- 人の頸部またはその近くにある腫瘍を治療するか、または転移を防ぐ方法であって、
電極素子の第1のセットを前記人の後頸部に貼り付けるステップと、
電極素子の第2のセットを前記人の胸部に貼り付けるステップと、
