- 複数のサブ画素を含む表示パネル,
複数のサブ画素それぞれに備えられた有機発光素子、および
前記有機発光素子の上部の色シフト(color shift)抑制構造物を含む有機発光表示装置。 - 前記色シフト抑制構造物が、前記有機発光素子の上部の第1カバー層および前記第1カバー層の上部の複数の第2カバー層を含む請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記複数の第2カバー層は、前記サブ画素ごとに異なって設けられた請求項2に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記第1カバー層が、有機膜であり、
前記複数の第2カバー層は、無機膜である請求項2に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記第1カバー層が、前記有機発光素子のカソードの上部に接する請求項2に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記第1カバー層が、前記有機発光素子のカソードの上部を直接カバーする請求項5に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記複数の第2カバー層が、前記有機発光素子のアノードと同じ形状である請求項2に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記第2カバー層の面積が、前記有機発光素子の前記アノードの面積の50%~90%である請求項7に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記複数の第2カバー層の1つは、対応するサブ画素から放出される光の波長が短いほど面積が広い請求項2に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 青色光を発光するサブ画素に対応した複数の第2カバー層の面積が、緑色光を発光するサブ画素に対応した複数の第2カバー層の面積よりも広く、
前記緑色光を発光するサブ画素に対応した第2カバー層の面積は、赤色光を発光するサブ画素に対応した第2カバー層の面積よりも広い、請求項7に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記複数の第2カバー層が、半球形状である請求項2に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記第1カバー層と前記複数の第2カバー層とが接する界面が、所定値以上の粗さを有する請求項2に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記複数の第2カバー層が上部にある少なくとも一つのサブ画素を第1比率で含む第1領域、および前記複数の第2カバー層が上部にある少なくとも一つのサブ画素を第2比率で含む第2領域を有し、
前記第2比率が、前記第1比率と異なる請求項2に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記第2比率が、前記第1比率よりも大きい請求項13に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記第2領域を使用者が眺める第2視野角が、前記第1領域を使用者が眺める第1視野角よりも大きい請求項11に記載の有機発光表示装置。
