一方、R-1樹脂の官能評価の平均値と、R-2樹脂の官能評価の平均値との差が、R-1樹脂の平均値の標準偏差及びR-2樹脂の平均値の標準偏差よりも、小さかった。この結果から、従来的方法における官能評価では、複数の化粧膜の試料の負担感の大小を精度よく評価できていないおそれがあること、言い換えれば、本実施形態の方法における剛体振り子試験による評価では、複数の化粧膜の試料の負担感の大小を精度よく評価できること、が示された。
そして、本実施形態の方法における剛体振り子試験による評価では、試験開始の時点から試験開始の時点から所与の時間経過後の時点までの範囲での線形近似により得られる線形近似曲線における傾きを用いる場合でも、試験開始の時点におけるプロットと試験開始の時点から所与の時間経過後の時点におけるプロットとを通る直線の傾きを用いる場合でも、化粧膜の負担感を良好に評価できることが示された。また、特に、実施例の試験用化粧料においては、試験開始の時点から所与の時間経過後の時点として、対数減衰率が0.2、0.3、0.4に達する時点を選択して試験を行ったところ、対数減衰率が0.2の場合と比較して、対数減衰率が0.3の場合及び0.4の場合の方が、各試料の差が明確になることがわかった。
