Abstract
Description
本出願は、2017年12月14日に出願された、「Suture Passer Device」と題する米国仮特許出願第62/598,545号の優先権を主張する。
外科手術手順では、縫合糸を組織に通す必要があるのが一般的である。例えば、多くの整形外科修復手順では、縫合糸を組織に通して、組織を骨と並置する必要がある。一般的に、縫合糸は針に取り付けられるか、そうでなければ針に通され、針は組織を通る。いくつかの手順では、外科手術部位の組織にアクセスすることは困難である。これらの例では、縫合糸通しデバイスは、組織の近位側を通って組織の遠位側に針を進め、または誘導し、組織の近位側を通って戻すために使用されることが多い。しかしながら、多くの従来の縫合糸通し器は、組織を通って移動するときに、縫合糸を一貫してまたは十分に固定しない。さらに、多くの従来の縫合糸通し器は、組織を通っている間、針を露出させたままにするが、これは周囲組織に追加的損傷または外傷を引き起こす可能性がある。
本開示は、縫合糸通しデバイスの発明の構成、構造、および結果として生じる機能、ならびにある長さの縫合糸を物体に通すための方法に関する。一態様によれば、縫合糸通しデバイスは、近位端と、遠位端に延びる湾曲した遠位管部分とを有する中空管を含む。縫合糸通しデバイスはまた、中空管の近位端に取り付けられたハンドル、第一の位置、第二の位置、および第三の位置の間で移動可能なハンドル上のアクチュエータ、ならびに湾曲した遠位管部分内にあり、アクチュエータに接続された内部アームを含む。内部アームは、第一の構成、第二の構成、および第三の構成の間で移動可能である。アクチュエータが第一の位置にある時、内部アームは、第一の構成にあり、遠位管部分からある角度で遠位管部分の外へ延びる。アクチュエータが第二の位置にある時、内部アームは第二の構成にあり、第一の構成と比較して遠位管部分内にさらに近位に退縮する。
Claims (18)
- 縫合糸通しデバイスであって、
近位端と、遠位端に延びる湾曲した遠位管部分とを有する中空管と、
前記中空管の前記近位端に取り付けられたハンドルと、
第一の位置と第二の位置との間で移動可能な前記ハンドル上のアクチュエータと、
前記湾曲した遠位管部分内にあり、前記アクチュエータに接続された内部アームであって、第一の構成と第二の構成との間で移動可能である、内部アームと、を備え、
前記アクチュエータが前記第一の位置にある時、前記内部アームは、前記第一の構成にあり、前記遠位管部分からある角度で前記遠位管部分の外へ延び、
前記アクチュエータが前記第二の位置にある時、前記内部アームは前記第二の構成にあり、前記第一の構成と比較して前記遠位管部分内にさらに近位に退縮する、縫合糸通しデバイス。 - 前記内部アームが、遠位端にフックを備えた前記遠位端を備える、請求項1に記載の縫合糸通しデバイス。
- 前記アクチュエータが前記第二の位置にある時、前記内部アームは前記第二の構成にあり、前記遠位管部分内にさらに近位に退縮する、請求項2に記載の縫合糸通しデバイス。
- 前記アクチュエータが第三の位置にあり、前記遠位管部分が第三の構成にあり、前記フックが前記遠位管部分に接触し、前記フックを通して閉じた開口部を形成する、請求項3に記載の縫合糸通しデバイス。
- 前記閉じた開口部を通って延びる、ある長さの縫合糸をさらに備える、請求項4に記載の縫合糸通しデバイス。

近位端と、遠位端まで延びる湾曲した遠位管部分を備えた中空管、前記中空管の前記近位端に取り付けられたハンドル、第一の位置と第二の位置の間で移動可能な前記ハンドル上のアクチュエータ、および前記湾曲した遠位管部分内にあり、前記アクチュエータに接続された内部アームを有する縫合糸通しデバイスであって、前記内部アームは第一の構成と第二の構成の間で移動可能であり、前記アクチュエータが前記第一の位置にある時、前記内部アームは前記第一の構成にあり、前記遠位管部分からある角度で前記遠位管部分の外へ延び、前記アクチュエータが前記第二の位置にある時、前記内部アームは前記第二の構成にあり、前記第一の構成と比較して前記遠位管部分内にさらに近位に退縮する、縫合糸通しデバイスを提供するステップと、
前記アクチュエータを前記第一の位置に移動させるステップと、
ある長さの縫合糸を前記内部アームと前記遠位管部分との間に位置付けるステップと、
前記アクチュエータを前記第二の位置に移動させるステップと、
前記遠位管部分を前記物体の第一の側を通して前記物体の第二の側に前進させるステップと、
前記物体の前記第二の側で前記内部アームと前記遠位管部分との間から前記縫合糸を解放するステップと、
前記アクチュエータを前記第一の位置に移動させるステップと、および
前記遠位管部分を前記物体の前記第二の側から前記物体の前記第一の側に退縮させるステップと、を含む、方法。 - 前記内部アームが、遠位端にフックを備えた前記遠位端を備える、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記アクチュエータが前記第三の位置にある時、前記内部アームは前記第三の構成にあり、前記第二の構成と比較して前記遠位管部分内にさらに近位に退縮する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記アクチュエータが第三の位置にあり、前記遠位管部分が第三の構成にあり、前記フックが前記遠位管部分に接触し、前記フックを通して閉じた開口部を形成する、請求項12に記載の方法。
