Abstract
Description
Claims (44)
- ポリマー中に炭素ナノ構造体を分散させる方法であって:
前記炭素ナノ構造体及び微粒子固体を含むブレンドを液体媒体中で湿式混合すること;
前記ブレンドを乾燥させて、通常の配合プロセスにおいてポリマーに添加するのに適した炭素ナノ構造体と微粒子とのプレブレンドを形成すること
を含む方法。 - 前記液体媒体が有機液体である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記液体媒体が置換された芳香族分子、アルキル置換された芳香族炭化水素、ハロゲン化置換された分子、ハロゲン化アルカン、部分的に水素化された芳香族炭化水素、アルキルアミン、環状エーテル、o−ジクロロベンゼン、キシレン、ベンゼン、ジメチルホルムアミド、塩化エチレン、クロロホルム、1,2,4−トリメチルベンゼン、1,2,3,4−テトラメチルベンゼン、テトラヒドロフラン、1,2−ジブロモベンゼン、1,1,2,2−テトラクロロエタン、1,2,3,4−テトラヒドロナフタレン、オクタデシルアミン、アセトン及びそれらの混合物を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記液体媒体が水又は界面活性剤によって安定化された水であり、前記界面活性剤がコール酸ナトリウム、オクチルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム、ブチルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム、安息香酸ナトリウム、ドデシル硫酸ナトリウム、C8H17C6H4(OCH2CH2)n−OH(式中、n〜10)、ドデシルトリメチルアンモニウムブロミド、デキストリン、及びポリスチレン−ポリエチレンオキシドジブロックコポリマーからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの構成員である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記微粒子固体がカーボンブラックである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ナノ構造化炭素がカーボンナノチューブ(「CNT」)を含み、前記プレブレンドが前記CNTのネットワークと混合された微粒子固体の粒子を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記CNTが単層カーボンナノチューブである、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記CNTが多層カーボンナノチューブである、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記プレブレンドをポリマー組成物中に混合することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー組成物中の主ポリマーがエチレン−α−オレフィンエラストマーである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記エチレン−α−オレフィンエラストマーのα−オレフィンがプロピレン、ブチレン又はオクテンである、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー組成物を含むゴム製品を製造することをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記ゴム製品がベルト、ホース、タイヤ、又は制振部品である、請求項12に記載の方法。
- エラストマー中にカーボンナノチューブ(「CNT」)を分散させる方法であって:
液体媒体中でCNTとカーボンブラックとを湿式混合した後乾燥させることによって形成されたCNTとカーボンブラックとのプレブレンドを得ること;
他の成分と共に前記エラストマー中に前記プレブレンドを混合してエラストマー組成物を形成すること
を含む方法。 - 前記エラストマー組成物を含むエラストマー製品を製造することをさらに含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記エラストマー製品がベルト、ホース、タイヤ、又は制振部品である、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記エラストマー製品が動力伝達ベルトである、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記プレブレンド中のカーボンブラック対CNTの重量比が4:1〜20:1の範囲内にある、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記プレブレンドがCNTのネットワーク内に混和されたカーボンブラックの粒子を含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記プレブレンドがナノチューブネットワークとその中に分散されたカーボンブラック粒子とを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 液体媒体中の湿式混合によって調製された炭素ナノ構造体及び微粒子固体を含むプレブレンド組成物。
- 前記プレブレンドがナノチューブネットワークとその中に分散されたカーボンブラック粒子とを含む、請求項21に記載のプレブレンド組成物。
- 前記プレブレンドがナノチューブで被覆されたカーボンブラック粒子を含む、請求項21に記載のプレブレンド組成物。
- 前記プレブレンドが炭素ナノ構造体で被覆された黒鉛質炭素粒子を含む、請求項21に記載のプレブレンド組成物。
- 前記プレブレンドがコア−シェル材料を形成する炭素ナノ構造体のシェルで被覆された固体コア粒子を含む、請求項21に記載のプレブレンド組成物。
- 前記コア粒子が規則的又は不規則的な形状であり20nm〜20μmの範囲の大きさの平均最長寸法を有する、請求項25に記載のプレブレンド組成物。
- 前記コア粒子が黒鉛質炭素、ガラス状炭素又は構造のない炭素である、請求項25に記載のプレブレンド組成物。
- 前記炭素ナノ構造体がフラーレン、単層カーボンナノチューブ、多層カーボンナノチューブ、及びそれらの化学的誘導体からなる群からの1種又は2種以上からなる、請求項25に記載のプレブレンド組成物。
- 前記コア粒子を被覆するシェルが当該コア粒子の全表面積の50〜100%の範囲の表面積を被覆している、請求項25に記載のプレブレンド組成物。
- 液体媒体中での湿式混合後に固体組成物の乾燥によって調製された炭素ナノ構造体及び微粒子固体を含むプレブレンド組成物。
- 前記プレブレンドがナノチューブネットワークとその中に分散されたカーボンブラック粒子とを含む、請求項30に記載のプレブレンド組成物。
- 前記プレブレンドがナノチューブで被覆されたカーボンブラック粒子を含む、請求項30に記載のプレブレンド組成物。
- 前記プレブレンドが炭素ナノ構造体で被覆された黒鉛質炭素粒子を含む、請求項30に記載のプレブレンド組成物。
- 前記プレブレンドがコア−シェル材料を形成する炭素ナノ構造体のシェルで被覆された固体コア粒子を含む、請求項30に記載のプレブレンド組成物。
- 前記コア粒子が規則的又は不規則的な形状であり20nm〜20μmの範囲の大きさの平均最長寸法を有する、請求項34に記載のコア−シェル材料。
- 前記コア粒子が黒鉛質炭素、ガラス状炭素又は構造のない炭素である、請求項34に記載の組成物。
- 前記炭素ナノ構造体がフラーレン、単層カーボンナノチューブ、多層カーボンナノチューブ、及びそれらの化学的誘導体からなる群からの1種又は2種以上からなる、請求項34に記載の組成物。
- 前記コア粒子を被覆するシェルが当該コア粒子の全表面積の50〜100%の範囲の表面積を被覆している、請求項34に記載のコアシェル材料。
- 液体媒体中に炭素ナノ構造体を分散させて分散体を形成すること;
前記分散体を微粒子固体とブレンディングしてブレンドを形成すること
を含む方法。 - 前記ブレンドを乾燥させてプレブレンドを形成することをさらに含む、請求項39に記載の方法。
- 前記プレブレンドが、前記炭素ナノ構造体のシェルで被覆された前記固体粒子のコアを含むコア−シェル材料を含む、請求項40に記載の方法。
- 配合プロセスにおいてポリマーに前記プレブレンドを添加することをさらに含む、請求項40に記載の方法。
- 前記プレブレンドを電池電極の一部として又はスーパーキャパシタの電解質媒体の一部として使用することをさらに含む、請求項40に記載の方法。
- 電解質媒体、塗料、コーティング、又はスラリーに前記プレブレンドを使用することをさらに含む、請求項39に記載の方法。
