Abstract
【解決手段】本発明による補給型アダプティブ・フロントステアリング・システムは、ステアリングコラムシャフト上に中空モーターを適用することで、上部シャフトと共に回転するモーターにおいて、シャフトの回転方向及び回転量によって操向ギア比を可変させる新たな方式のAFSシステムを実現することによって、全体的なシステムを単純化でき、部品数を減らして材料費を低減することを特徴とする。

Claims (7)
- ステアリングホイールに連結される上部シャフト10と、出力軸の役割をする下部シャフト11と、ステアリングコラムシャフトと同軸に配置され、前記上部シャフト10と前記下部シャフト11との間に連結される中空モーター12と、を含み、
前記中空モーター12のモーターハウジング13は前記上部シャフト10側に連結されると共にモーターシャフト14は前記下部シャフト11側に連結され、前記上部シャフト10と共に回転する前記中空モーター12のシャフトの回転方向と回転量によって操向ギア比が可変されるように形成されることを特徴とする車両のアダプティブ・フロントステアリング・システム。 - 前記中空モーター12の前記モーターハウジング13と前記上部シャフト10は、上部遊星ギア装置15を介して連結されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両のアダプティブ・フロントステアリング・システム。
- 前記上部遊星ギア装置15は、前記上部シャフト10に装着される太陽ギア16aと、前記モーターハウジング13のハウジングアダプター17に装着されるリングギア18aと、前記太陽ギア16aと前記リングギア18aとの間に介在して噛合伝動される複数の遊星ギア19aと、で構成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両のアダプティブ・フロントステアリング・システム。
- 前記中空モーター12の前記モーターシャフト14と前記下部シャフト11は、下部遊星ギア装置20を介して連結されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両のアダプティブ・フロントステアリング・システム。
- 前記下部遊星ギア装置20は、前記下部シャフト11に装着される太陽ギア16bと、前記モーターシャフト14のシャフトアダプター21に装着されるリングギア18bと、前記太陽ギア16bと前記リングギア18bとの間に介在して噛合伝動される複数の遊星ギア19bと、で構成されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両のアダプティブ・フロントステアリング・システム。
- MDPS(Motor Driven Power Steering)システムの障害時に、前記上部シャフト10側と前記下部シャフト11側を結束させる役割をするロックユニット22をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両のアダプティブ・フロントステアリング・システム。
- 前記上部シャフト10には、操舵角と操舵トルク情報をECUに伝達するTAS(Torque & Angle sensor)23が設置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両のアダプティブ・フロントステアリング・システム。
