Abstract
Description
1.シクロデキストリンを有効成分として含むカテキン生体利用率増進剤、又はカテキン;及びシクロデキストリンを有効成分として含むカテキン生体利用率増進剤、を含む組成物、又はシクロデキストリンをカテキン又はこれを含む組成物に添加するステップを含むカテキン生体利用率の増進方法、若しくはシクロデキストリンとカテキンとを併用投与することを含むカテキン生体利用率の増進方法、又はシクロデキストリンのカテキン生体利用率の増進用途。
茶葉を水と酒精を用いて抽出し、これをカラムにて精製してカテキン含量50%以上の茶抽出物を調製し、該茶抽出物からカテキン含有組成物を調製した。
α−、β−、及びγ−シクロデキストリンをそれぞれ用いてカテキンを包接した場合にカテキンがどの程度吸収されるかを測定することでカテキンの生体利用率を評価した。
γ−シクロデキストリンで包接されたカテキン組成物に酸又は糖アルコールを付加して調製した組成物を用いてカテキンの生体接近率(%)、腸内輸送率(%)、生体利用率(%)の評価を行った。
実験動物として平均体重22.35gである雄ICRマウス50匹を準備し、10匹ずつ5グループに分けて、それぞれ対照群と実験群1〜7に分類した。一般の配合飼料で1週間予備飼育した後、評価12時間前に絶食をさせ、表4の方法にて各グループに経口投与した。
すなわち、カテキンをシクロデキストリンで包接し、酸と糖アルコールを含めてなる組成物は、優れた体重減少効果を有することが分かる。
シクロデキストリンで包接されたカテキン組成物及び前記組成物に酸、糖アルコールを含めてなるカテキン組成物の体重及び体脂肪減少効果について、臨床実験にてその評価を行った。実験対象者としてPIBW(理想体重百分率)110%以上、又はウエストサイズが男性90cm、女性は80cm以上、肥満度指数(BMI)が25以上の20才以上60歳以下の過体重或いは腹部肥満の成人を選定した。各群ごとの参加者の特性は下表のとおりである。
シクロデキストリンで包接されたカテキン、酸及び糖アルコールを含む組成物の抗酸化効果について、臨床実験にてその評価を行った。実験対象者として20〜30代の健康な成人女性を選定した。各群の参加者の特性は下表のとおりである。

精製水を加えた全量.....................1000ml
カテキン含量50%の茶抽出物20重量%、γ−シクロデキストリン10重量%、クエン酸10重量%、エリスリトール10重量%、とうもろこし澱粉10重量%、グリセリン20重量%、及びスルビトール10重量%を混合し、製丸機にて製丸する。
カテキン含量50%の茶抽出物30.5重量%、γ−シクロデキストリン10重量%、アスコルビン酸10重量%、エリスリトール7重量%、結晶セルロース20重量%を混合し、流動層乾燥機にて顆粒化した後、シュガーエステル(sugar ester)2.5重量%を添加して、打錠機で打錠する。
カテキン含量30%の茶抽出物20重量%、γ−シクロデキストリン10重量%、アスコルビン酸10重量%、エリスリトール10重量%、酵素処理ステビア5重量%、及びイソマルト45重量%を混合し、流動層顆粒機にて顆粒に成形した後に包みに充填する。
Claims (12)
- シクロデキストリンを有効成分として含む、カテキン生体利用率増進剤。
- シクロデキストリンは、α−シクロデキストリン、β−シクロデキストリン、及びγ−シクロデキストリンからなる群より選ばれる一つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の増進剤。
- カテキン、及び請求項1又は請求項2に記載のカテキン生体利用率増進剤を含む、組成物。
- カテキンはシクロデキストリンに包接された、請求項3に記載の組成物。
- カテキンとシクロデキストリンとの重量比は1000:1〜1:1000である、請求項3に記載の組成物。
- 組成物は、酸(acid)及び糖アルコールの少なくとも一つをさらに含む、請求項3に記載の組成物。
- 酸は、クエン酸、りんご酸、酒石酸、酢酸、蓚酸、タンニン酸、酪酸、乳酸、氷酢酸、及びアスコルビン酸からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一つを含む、請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 糖アルコールは、キシリトール、イソマルト、マルチトール、ソルビトール、エリスリトール、マンニトール、ラクチトール、及びマナトールからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一つを含む、請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 組成物は、酸及び糖アルコールの少なくとも一つをカテキン100重量部に対し、それぞれ10重量部〜10000重量部の範囲で含む、請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 組成物は体重減少用又は体脂肪減少用である、請求項3に記載の組成物。
- 組成物は抗酸化用である、請求項3に記載の組成物。
- 組成物は老化抑制用である、請求項3に記載の組成物。
