Abstract
Description
(a)繊維の一次壁(primary wall)の少なくとも主要部分を除去するためにセルロース系繊維を処理する工程、
(b)処理された繊維を乾燥する工程、
(c)処理された繊維を再湿潤する工程、および
(d)最終製品を得るために機械的手段によって湿潤された繊維を分解する(disintegrating)工程
を含む方法である。
(a)少なくとも0.4mmである平均繊維長を有する繊維を得るため、繊維の一次壁の少なくとも主要部分を除去するためにセルロース系繊維を処理する工程、
(b)工程(a)において得られた繊維を乾燥する工程
を含む。この方法の様々な実施態様は、前述の高度に微細化されたまたはミクロフィブリル化されたセルロースを製造するための方法の工程(a)および(b)を含む実施態様に相当する。
Claims (23)
- 高度に微細化されたまたはミクロフィブリル化されたセルロースの製造方法であって、以下の工程
(a)繊維の一次壁の少なくとも主要部分を除去するためにセルロース系繊維を処理する工程、
(b)処理された繊維を乾燥する工程、
(c)処理された繊維を再湿潤する工程、および
(d)最終製品を得るために機械的手段によって湿潤された繊維を分解する工程
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記工程(b)において乾燥された繊維が、異なる場所で前記工程(c)および(d)にしたがって再湿潤されおよび分解されるために輸送されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 繊維が、前記工程(b)において水分含有量が20重量%未満となるまで乾燥されることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記工程(a)において、一次壁材料が機械的叩解によって除去されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記工程(a)において、一次壁材料が酸化、好ましくは過酸化物またはオゾンの使用による酸化によって除去されることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記工程(a)において、一次壁材料が酵素的処理、好ましくはセルラーゼ酵素の使用による酵素的処理によって除去されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 一次壁材料が酸化および/または酵素的処理と組み合わされた機械的脱フィブリル化によって除去されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- ミクロフィブリル化セルロース(MFC)が、工程(d)において、ホモジナイザーおよびフリューダイザーの連続した使用によって製造されることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法による中間体生成物として得られうる乾燥されたセルロース系パルプであって、少なくとも0.4mmの長さの平均繊維長を有し、自然の未処理の繊維の一次壁材料の50%未満が前記中間体生成物中に残存していることを特徴とする乾燥されたセルロース系パルプ。
- 前記平均繊維長が、それからパルプが作製される未処理の繊維の平均繊維長の70%より大きく、好ましくは80%より大きく、より好ましくは90%より大きいことを特徴とする請求項9記載の乾燥されたセルロース系パルプ。
- 10μm未満の繊維長を有する微粒子の含有量が多くて5重量%であることを特徴とする請求項9または10記載の乾燥されたセルロース系パルプ。
- 20重量%未満の水分含有量を有することを特徴とする請求項9〜11のいずれか1項に記載の乾燥されたセルロース系パルプ。
- ショッパー・リーグラ(SR)ろ水度が、20SR〜50SRの範囲、好ましくは20SR〜40SRの範囲、およびより好ましくは20SR〜35SRの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項9〜12のいずれか1項に記載の乾燥されたセルロース系パルプ。
- 湿潤状態ゼロスパン引張強さが、60Nm/g未満、好ましくは50Nm/g未満、およびより好ましくは40Nm/g未満であることを特徴とする請求項9〜13のいずれか1項に記載の乾燥されたセルロース系パルプ。
- 40m2/gより大きい、好ましくは60m2/gより大きいBET表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項9〜14のいずれか1項に記載の乾燥されたセルロース系パルプ。
- 種々の場所への輸送に適した、積層シートの形状であることを特徴とする請求項9〜15のいずれか1項に記載の乾燥されたセルロース系パルプ。
- 請求項9〜16のいずれか1項に記載の乾燥されたセルロース系パルプを製造するための方法であって、以下の工程
(a)少なくとも0.4mmである平均繊維長を有する繊維を得るため、繊維の一次壁の少なくとも主要部分を除去するためにセルロース系繊維を処理する工程、
(b)前記工程(a)において得られた繊維を乾燥する工程
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 繊維が、前記工程(b)において水分含有量が20重量%未満となるまで乾燥されることを特徴とする請求項17記載の方法。
- 前記工程(a)において、一次壁材料が機械的叩解によって除去されることを特徴とする請求項17または18記載の方法。
- 前記工程(a)において、一次壁材料が酸化、好ましくは過酸化物またはオゾンの使用による酸化によって除去されることを特徴とする請求項17〜19のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記工程(a)において、一次壁材料が酵素的処理、好ましくはセルラーゼ酵素の使用による酵素的処理によって除去されることを特徴とする請求項17〜20のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 一次壁材料が酸化および/または酵素的処理と組み合わされた機械的脱フィブリル化によって除去されることを特徴とする請求項17〜21のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 高度に微細化されたまたはミクロフィブリル化されたセルロースの製造のための、請求項9〜16のいずれか1項に記載の乾燥されたセルロース系パルプの使用。
