Description
明確に記載したように、本発明のカテーテルは、位置、運動、圧力及び流量を含む少なくとも一つのデータタイプを測定して報告することができる少なくとも一つのセンサを組み入れるとよい。これらは、磁気、電磁気、微小電気機械、高周波、超音波及び映像を含むが、これに限定されない。多重センサ対応カテーテルの一例は、種々の微小電気機械(microelectromechanical:MEMS)装置:三軸加速度計、ロール/ピッチジャイロスコープ、及びヨーレートジャイロスコープと、圧力及び流量変換器とを収容しているフォーリーカテーテルである。その装置は、小さく柔軟なプリント回路基板(printed circuit board ;PCB)に実装されて、フォーリーカテーテルに取り付けられるとよい。三軸加速度計は、三つの方向でフォーリーカテーテルの並進を追跡する。ジャイロスコープは、重力回転を殺すのに利用され、実時間の運動を追跡することを可能にする。
Claims (6)
- 位置、運動、圧力及び流量からなるグループから選択された一つ又はそれ以上の種類の実時間データを提供することができる少なくとも一つのセンサを有するカテーテルを有する装置。
- 前記カテーテルは、フォーリーカテーテルである、請求項1記載の装置。
- 請求項1の装置を患者内に提供し、かつ、失禁を軽減することができる患者の解剖学的状態を決定することを含む、尿失禁(UI)の診療又は治療のための方法。
- 前記解剖学的状態は、膀胱頸部及び尿道の位置の相対位置である、請求項3記載の方法。
- 前記解剖学的状態は、膀胱括約筋の筋機能である、請求項3記載の方法。
- 失禁を軽減するように患者を処置することを更に含む、請求項3記載の方法。
