Abstract
【解決手段】 キャリパボディ5の作用部5aの反ディスクロータ側面のディスク周方向中央部に、ユニオンボス部5hを形成する。ディスク回入側のシリンダ孔5eの底壁5iよりもディスク回入側からユニオンボス部5hに亘って第1ブリーダボス部5jが、ディスク回出側のシリンダ孔5fの底壁よりもディスク回出側からユニオンボス部5hに亘って第2ブリーダボス部5mがそれぞれ形成される。ユニオンボス部5hと第1ブリーダボス部及び第2ブリーダボス部5mとは、ユニオンボス部5hが第1ブリーダボス部及び第2ブリーダボス部5mよりも外方に突出する一連の突状部5nで形成されている。

Claims (5)
- ピストンを挿入するシリンダ孔を備えた作用部に、前記シリンダ孔の底部とピストンとの間に設けられる液圧室へ昇圧した作動液を導入するユニオン孔を備えたユニオンボス部と、作動液中の混入エアを排出するブリーダ孔を備えたブリーダボス部とを設けた車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディにおいて、
前記ユニオンボス部は、前記作用部の反ディスクロータ側面のディスク周方向中央部に形成され、前記ブリーダボス部は、前記シリンダ孔の底壁の外周側から前記ユニオンボス部に亘って形成されると共に、前記ユニオンボス部と前記ブリーダボス部とは、前記ユニオンボス部が前記ブリーダボス部よりも外方に突出する一連の突状部で形成されていることを特徴とする車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディ。 - 前記ブリーダボス部は、前記ユニオンボス部のディスク周方向両側部にそれぞれ設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディ。
- 前記キャリパボディは、キャリパボディの成型体を加工することにより製造されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディ。
- 前記成型体は、鋳造により形成されることを特徴とする請求項3記載の車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディ。
- 前記ユニオンボス部は、鋳造時の湯口部を加工することにより形成されることを特徴とする請求項4記載の車両用ディスクブレーキのキャリパボディ。
