Abstract
【解決手段】多段アクリルコポリマーおよび疎水性に修飾されたアルカリ膨潤性アクリルエマルションコポリマー、アルカリ膨潤性アクリルエマルションコポリマー、およびそれらの混合物から選択される乾燥陰イオン会合性増粘剤含有の水再分散性ポリマー粉末(RDP)組成物を含む、ドライミックス適用における使用のための常温保存可能な組成物で、カルシウムメタクリル酸塩基を有し、150〜500℃の沸点及び3.5%以下の水溶性を示す核形成剤、及びコロイド安定剤を更に組むドライミックス組成物および乾燥組成物。

Description
周囲温度で、下記表5で指示されるエマルションは、指示されたpHおよび固定分を有する中和エマルションを与えるために、下記表5における量の水酸化カルシウムおよび水で撹拌された。実施例8を除き、中和エマルションはその後、下記表6に指示される水再分散性ポリマー粉末を与えるために、下記表4に示される不確実性に対する許容を伴う噴霧乾燥条件における、ノズル(Spray Systems Company、Wheaton、ILからのSU4)を備えるニロアトマイザースプレードライヤー(GEA Process Engineering Inc,Columbia,MD)実験室噴霧乾燥器を使用して、噴霧乾燥された。実施例8は噴霧乾燥条件が最適されていないパイロット乾燥器において調製された。別様が特定されない限り、下記表5における全ての水性分散液において、霞石閃長岩の凝固阻止助成剤(MINEX(商標)7、中央値粒径3.1ミクロン、またはMINEX(商標)10、中央値粒径2.1ミクロン、Unimin Specialty Minerals Inc.,New Canaan,CT)が下記表4において与えられる量で含まれた。
比較例9:周囲温度で、4169.0gmのエマルションAが、pH10.5〜12および約35%の固形分を有するエマルションを供給するために、25.68gmの水酸化カルシウムおよび1510gmの水で構成される水性スラリーで処理された。中和エマルションはその後、ノズル(Spray Systems Company、Wheaton、ILからのSU4またはSU5)を備えるニロアトマイザースプレードライヤー(GEA Process Engineering Inc,Columbia,MD)実験室噴霧乾燥器を使用して、噴霧乾燥された。MINEX10霞石閃長岩は、別々の口において2.9〜3.5gm/分の割合で噴霧乾燥器に供給された。別様が指示されない限り、追加のコロイド安定剤は使用されなかった。この例のデータは下記表8に示される。
Claims (11)
- B)多段アクリルコポリマーRDPと、A)A)およびB)の総重量に基づき0.1から7.5重量%の、疎水性に修飾されたアルカリ膨潤性アクリルエマルションコポリマー(HASE)、アルカリ膨潤性アクリルエマルションコポリマー、およびそれらの混合物から選択される乾燥陰イオン会合性増粘剤とを含有する水再分散性ポリマー粉末(RDP)組成物を含む、ドライミックス適用における使用のための常温保存可能な組成物であって、前記B)多段アクリルコポリマーRDPが、アルカリ可溶性樹脂外段および1つ以上の内段を含むカルシウムメタクリル酸塩基を有し、前記RDPが、150℃から500℃の沸点および3.5%以下の水溶性を有する1つ以上の核形成剤、ならびに1つ以上のコロイド安定剤のそれぞれをさらに含有する、組成物であって、
前記多段アクリルコポリマーが水中に分散されたときに、前記1つ以上の内段が、Fox式を使用して求められる−10から15℃のガラス転移温度(Tg)を有するアクリル(コ)ポリマーを構成し、
さらに、前記アルカリ可溶性樹脂外段の、前記1つ以上の内段に対する重量比率が1:19から2:3の範囲であり、
またさらに、前記乾燥陰イオン会合性増粘剤、前記コロイド安定剤、前記核形成剤、および前記多段アクリルコポリマーが同じ粒子内に含有される、常温保存可能な組成物。 - 前記A)乾燥陰イオン会合性増粘剤の量が、A)およびB)の総重量に基づき0.25から2重量%の範囲である、請求項1に記載のドライミックス適用における使用のための常温保存可能な組成物。
- 前記A)乾燥陰イオン会合性増粘剤が、疎水性に修飾されたアルカリ膨潤性アクリルエマルションコポリマー(HASE)、アルカリ膨潤性アクリルエマルションコポリマー、およびそれらの混合物から選択される、請求項1に記載のドライミックス適用における使用のための常温保存可能な組成物。
- 前記B)多段アクリルコポリマーRDPが、共重合形態で、前記コポリマーを作るために使用されるモノマーの総重量に基づき0.05から2.0重量%の範囲の架橋剤を含む、請求項1に記載のドライミックス適用における使用のための常温保存可能な組成物。
- 前記B)多段アクリルコポリマーRDPが、前記コポリマーを作るために使用されるモノマーおよび連鎖移動剤の総重量に基づき0.05から1.0重量%の範囲で連鎖移動剤残基を含む、請求項1に記載のドライミックス適用における使用のための常温保存可能な組成物。
- 前記B)多段アクリルコポリマーRDPが100重量部分多段アクリルコポリマー固体につき0.1から15重量%の前記1つ以上のコロイド安定剤を含む、請求項1に記載のドライミックス適用における使用のための常温保存可能な組成物。
- 前記コロイド安定剤がポリ(ビニルアルコール)(PVOH)である、請求項6に記載のドライミックス適用における使用のための常温保存可能な組成物。
- 前記B)多段アクリルコポリマーRDPが1つ以上の疎水剤をさらに含む、上記1、2、3、4または5に従う組成物。
- 前記B)多段アクリルコポリマーRDPが1つ以上の凝固阻止助成剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のドライミックス適用における使用のための常温保存可能な組成物。
- セメント系物質および非セメント系物質から選択される無機乾燥物質をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のドライミックス適用における使用のための常温保存可能な組成物。
- 1つ以上のコロイド安定剤、および、メタクリル酸基ならびに1つ以上の内段、150℃から500℃の沸点および3.5%以下の水溶性を有する1つ以上の核形成剤を含む、アルカリ可溶性樹脂外段を有する多段アクリルコポリマーを含む水性分散液であって、そこにおいて前記多段アクリルコポリマーが水中に分散すると前記1つ以上の内段がFox式を使用して求められるガラス転移温度(Tg)−10から15℃を有するアクリル(コ)ポリマーを構成する水性分散液を提供することと、水再分散性ポリマー粉末を形成するために、多段アクリルコポリマー固体の総重量に基づき0.75から3重量%の水酸化カルシウムまたは石灰水を伴い、結果として得られる組成物を微粒化することと、それとは別に、疎水性に修飾されたアルカリ膨潤性アクリルエマルションコポリマー(HASE)、アルカリ膨潤性アクリルエマルションコポリマー、またはそれらの混合物から選択される、前記水性混合物および前記水性分散液における固体の総重量に基づき0.1から7.5重量%、または好適には0.25から2重量%の陰イオン会合性増粘剤の水性混合物を提供することと、乾燥陰イオン会合性増粘剤を形成するために前記水性混合物を微粒化することと、前記乾燥陰イオン会合性増粘剤および前記水再分散性ポリマー粉末を混合することとを含む、水再分散性ポリマー粉末組成物を作る方法。
