Claims (12)
- 複数のバッテリセルをそれぞれ内蔵する複数のセルモジュール、及び
前記複数のセルモジュールから受信したバッテリセルの状態情報に基づいて、前記複数のセルモジュールのうちの少なくとも一つのセルモジュールに充電に関する制御信号を伝送し、外部充電器から前記複数のセルモジュールに供給される電流を前記状態情報に基づいて制御するバッテリ管理システムを含み、
前記複数のセルモジュールは、内蔵されたバッテリセルの一定の容量を前記外部充電器と連結して充電し、内蔵されたバッテリセルの残りの容量を前記制御信号によって個別的に充電するバッテリパック。 - 前記各セルモジュールは、
内蔵されたバッテリセルの状態をモニターして、モニターした前記状態情報を前記バッテリ管理システムに伝送し、前記制御信号を受信する制御部、及び
前記制御部の制御によって内蔵されたバッテリセルを充電するセル充電部
をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリパック。 - 前記制御部は、
内蔵されたバッテリセルの電圧、電流、及び温度をモニターする、請求項2に記載のバッテリパック。 - 前記複数のバッテリセルが極性によって直列に連結され、直列に連結された前記複数のバッテリセルの一端と、前記一端に対応する前記外部充電器の極の間に位置したスイッチをさらに含み、
前記バッテリ管理システムは前記スイッチの開放と閉鎖を制御する、請求項1に記載のバッテリパック。 - 前記バッテリ管理システムは、
前記状態情報に基づいて前記複数のセルモジュールのうちのいずれか一つのセルモジュールが充電終止電圧に到達すれば、前記スイッチを制御して前記外部充電器から前記複数のバッテリセルに供給される電流を遮断する、請求項4に記載のバッテリパック。 - 前記バッテリ管理システムは、
前記外部充電器から前記複数のバッテリセルに供給される電流を遮断する場合、前記状態情報に基づいて各セルモジュールの状態を分析して、残った充電容量を前記外部充電器から個別的に充電するように各セルモジュールに制御信号を伝送する、請求項5に記載のバッテリパック。 - 前記バッテリ管理システムは、
電圧、電流、及び温度のうちの少なくとも一つに基づいて前記複数のセルモジュールの正常動作範囲を設定し、前記状態情報に基づいて前記複数のセルモジュールのうちの少なくとも一つのセルモジュールが前記正常動作範囲を満たさなければ、前記スイッチを制御して前記外部充電器から前記複数のバッテリセルに供給される電流を遮断する、請求項4に記載のバッテリパック。 - 前記バッテリ管理システムは、
前記複数のセルモジュールから受信した状態情報を管理し、前記複数のセルモジュールの性能をチェックして交替の要否を判断する、請求項1に記載のバッテリパック。 - 前記状態情報は温度情報を含み、
前記バッテリ管理システムは、
温度情報を含み、前記状態情報に基づいて各セルモジュールの温度と基準温度を比較して、基準温度より低いセルモジュールに加熱マットを稼動するようにする制御信号を伝送し、基準温度より高いセルモジュールがあれば冷却装置を稼動する、請求項1に記載のバッテリパック。 - バッテリパックのバッテリ管理システムが複数のバッテリセルをそれぞれ含む複数のセルモジュールを充電する方法であって、
外部充電器から供給された電流を利用して、前記複数のバッテリセルを同時に充電する段階、
前記複数のセルモジュールの状態をモニターして、前記複数のセルモジュールのうちのいずれか一つのセルモジュールが充電終止電圧に到達するのか判断する段階、
充電終止電圧に到達するセルモジュールがある場合、前記充電を中断する段階、及び
各セルモジュールの状態情報を分析して、各セルモジュールがバッテリセルの残った充電容量を個別的に充電するように各セルモジュールに制御信号を伝送する段階
を含むバッテリパックの充電方法。 - 前記充電終止電圧に到達するのか判断する段階は、
前記複数のセルモジュールそれぞれから受信したバッテリセルの電圧情報に基づいて判断する、請求項10に記載のバッテリパックの充電方法。 - 前記充電を中断する段階は、
前記外部充電器を制御して供給電流を減らす段階、及び
前記外部充電器と前記複数のセルモジュールの間に位置したスイッチを制御して、前記外部充電器から前記複数のバッテリセルに供給される電流を遮断する段階
を含む、請求項10に記載のバッテリパックの充電方法。
