Abstract
【解決手段】両端に細径部が形成された透光性セラミック製の発光管の内部に金属ハロゲン化物を含むイオン化可能な充填物が封入されており、前記細径部内に電気導入体及びそれに連なる電極極芯が挿通されており、該電気導入体がガラス封着材で気密的に固定されている放電ランプにおいて、前記電気導入体は、前記電極極芯と接続された第1の部材と、前記第1の部材と接続された第2の部材とで構成されており、前記細径部は細管にて構成されており、前記第2の部材の前記細管内への挿入長をC(mm)、前記細管内への前記ガラス封着材の流れ込み長をD(mm)とした場合に、D−C≧1.0(mm)の関係が成立することを特徴とすることで、ランプ寿命を長くすることができる。

Claims (4)
- 両端に細径部が形成された透光性セラミック製の発光管の内部に金属ハロゲン化物を含むイオン化可能な充填物が封入されており、前記細径部内に電気導入体及びそれに連なる電極極芯が挿通されており、該電気導入体がガラス封着材で気密的に固定されている放電ランプにおいて、
前記電気導入体は、前記電極極芯と接続された第1の部材と、前記第1の部材と接続された第2の部材とで構成されており、
前記第2の部材の前記細径部内への挿入長をC(mm)、前記細径部内への前記ガラス封着材の流れ込み長をD(mm)とした場合に、以下の関係が成立することを特徴とする放電ランプ。
D−C≧1.0(mm) - 前記電気導入体と前記細径部との間には嵌挿部材が備えられ、
前記電気導入体と前記嵌挿部材との間、及び前記嵌挿部材と前記細径部との間に、前記ガラス封着剤が充填されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の放電ランプ。 - 前記第1の部材の径は、0.3mm以上、0.7mm以下である請求項1または2に記載の放電ランプ。
- 前記嵌挿部材の表面の全体が前記ガラス封着材で覆われていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の放電ランプ。
