Abstract

Claims (20)
- 検体中のバイオマーカーのレベルを測定するための試薬のセットであって、バイオマーカーが、以下のバイオマーカーのパネル及びそれらの測定可能な断片からなる群から選択される試薬のセット:
(a)ミオグロビン、CRP、FGF塩基性タンパク質及びCA19−9;
(b)C型肝炎NS4、リボゾームP抗体及びCRP;
(c)CA19−9、TGFアルファ、EN−RAGE、EGF及びHSP90アルファ抗体、
(d)EN−RAGE、EGF、CA125、フィブリノーゲン、アポリポタンパク質CIII、EGF、コレラ毒素及びCA19−9;
(e)プロテイナーゼ3(cANCA)抗体、フィブリノーゲン、CA125、EGF、CD40、TSH、レプチン、CA19−9及びリンホタクチン;
(f)CA125、EGFR、CRP、IL−18、アポリポタンパク質CIII、テネイシンC及びアポリポタンパク質A1;
(g)CA125、ベータ−2マイクログロブリン、CRP、フェリチン、TIMP−1、クレアチンキナーゼ−MB及びIL−8;
(h)CA125、EGFR、IL−10、ハプトグロビン、CRP、インスリン、TIMP−1、フェリチン、アルファ−2マクログロブリン、レプチン、IL−8、CTGF、EN−RAGE、リンホタクチン、TNF−アルファ、IGF−1、TNF RII、フォン−ヴィルブランド因子及びMDC;
(i)CA−125、CRP、EGF−R、CA−19−9、アポ−AI、アポ−CIII、IL−6、IL−18、MIP−1a、テネイシンC及びミオグロビン;
(j)CA−125、CRP、EGF−R、CA−19−9、アポ−AI、アポ−CIII、IL−6、MIP−1a、テネイシンC及びミオグロビン;並びに
(k)表II及び表IIIに示すバイオマーカーのパネル。 - 1つ又は複数のバイオマーカーが、生物学的経路中のバイオマーカーの上流又は下流に見出される分子又は分子の測定可能な断片で置き換えられていてもよい、請求項1に記載の試薬のセット。
- 試薬が結合分子である、請求項1に記載の試薬のセット。
- 結合分子が抗体である、請求項3に記載の試薬のセット。
- 請求項1に記載の試薬のセットを含む試験キット。
- 対象における癌の可能性を予測する方法であって、
検体中のバイオマーカーのレベルを請求項1に記載の試薬のセットを使用して検出する工程
を含み、
癌を有さない患者の対照群と比較したバイオマーカーのレベルの変化が、当該対象における癌を予測する方法。 - 癌が卵巣癌である、請求項6に記載の方法。
- バイオマーカーの相対的なレベルの変化を決定する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 検体が、血液、血清、血漿、リンパ液、脳脊髄液、腹水、尿及び組織生検からなる群から選択される、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 卵巣癌が、漿液性癌、類内膜癌、粘液性癌及び明細胞癌からなる群から選択される、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 卵巣癌の予測が、IA期、IB期、IC期、II期、III期及びIV期の腫瘍からなる群から選択される段階を含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- バイオマーカーの相対的なレベルの報告書を作成する工程をさらに含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 報告書が、対象における卵巣癌の有無に関する予測、又は対象についての卵巣癌の、任意選択により癌の段階によって、階層化されたリスクに関する予測を含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 試料が、卵巣癌の症状を示す対象及び卵巣癌の高いリスクを有する対象からなる群から選択された対象から採られる、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも約85パーセントの感受性及び少なくとも約85パーセントの特異性を有する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 感受性及び特異性が、卵巣癌の症状を示しかつ卵巣癌を有する女性の集団と、卵巣癌の症状を示すが、卵巣癌を有さない女性の対照群とを比較して決定される、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載のバイオマーカーのパネルのレベルに基づいた予測又は診断のモデル。
- 請求項1に記載の試薬のセットを含む複数分析対象パネルアッセイ。
- 癌治療の治療効果を判定するための方法であって、
治療の前及び後又は治療過程の間に対象から採った検体中のバイオマーカーのプロファイルを、請求項1に記載の試薬のセットを用いて比較する工程
を含み、バイオマーカープロファイルの、長期にわたって非癌性プロファイルへ向かう変化又は安定なプロファイルへの変化を、効果と解釈する方法。 - 対象が癌を発症しつつある可能性があるか否かを決定するための方法であって、
2つ以上の時点において、対象から採った検体中のバイオマーカーのプロファイルを、請求項1に記載の試薬のセットを用いて比較する工程
を含み、バイオマーカーのプロファイルの癌プロファイルへ向かう変化を、癌の発症に向かう進行と解釈する方法。
