Abstract
【解決手段】変性ブタジエンゴムおよび/または変性スチレンブタジエンゴムを10〜45重量%、ならびに天然ゴムおよび/またはイソプレンゴムを55〜90重量%を含むゴム成分(ただし、1,2−シンジオタクチックポリブタジエン結晶を含有するブタジエンゴムを含まない)100重量部に対して、カーボンブラックを15〜50重量部およびシリカを5〜50重量部含有するブレーカートッピング用ゴム組成物。

で表されるベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミドを1.0〜3.0重量部含有することが好ましい。
で表される化合物にて変性された変性ブタジエンゴム(変性BR)であってもよい。
本発明のブレーカートッピング用ゴム組成物には、カーボンブラックを配合することで複素弾性率(E*)(剛性)を向上させることができ、シリカを配合することで破壊強度で(EB)(破断時伸び、耐久性)を向上させることができる。カーボンブラックを配合することでゴム組成物の初期加硫速度を速めることができ、シリカを配合することでゴム組成物の初期加硫速度を遅くすることができる。つまり、シリカのみの配合ではゴム組成物の加硫が遅く、ゴム組成物の加硫速度を促進させるために無理にDPG(加硫促進剤の助剤)を使うと、コード接着性が大幅に悪化する傾向があるという理由から、カーボンブラックおよびシリカを併用することがより好ましい。カーボンブラックとシリカを併用することで、スコーチ、物性、破断強度をバランスよく向上させることができる。
で表されるベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミドを含有することが好ましい。
つまり、本発明のブレーカートッピング用ゴム組成物は、複素弾性率(E*)(剛性)を低く抑え、破断時伸び(EB)(破壊強度、耐久性)の向上と低tanδ(低転がり抵抗、低燃費性)化を達成できるものである。

表1〜4に示す配合処方にしたがい、硫黄および加硫促進剤以外の薬品を、バンバリーミキサーを用いて混練りし、混練り物を得た。次に、得られた混練り物に、硫黄および加硫促進剤を添加し、オープンロールを用いて混練りし、未加硫ゴム組成物を得た。さらに、得られた未加硫ゴム組成物を、170℃の条件下で12分間プレス加硫することにより、実施例1〜18および比較例1〜5の加硫ゴム組成物を作製した。
前記加硫ゴム組成物から、所定のサイズの試験片を作製し、(株)岩本製作所製の粘弾性スペクトロメータVESを用いて、初期歪10%、動歪2%および周波数10Hzの条件下で、70℃におけるゴム試験片の複素弾性率(E*)および損失正接(tanδ)を測定した。なお、E*が大きいほど、剛性に優れ、tanδが小さいほど、低燃費性に優れていることを示す。
JIS K 6251「加硫ゴム及び熱可塑性ゴム−引張特性の求め方」に準じて、3号ダンベルを用いて引張り試験を実施し、加硫ゴム試験片の破断時伸び(EB)を測定した。なお、EBが大きいほど、破壊強度に優れることを示す。
未加硫のブレーカートッピング用ゴム組成物を用いてブレーカー層を成形したのち、他のタイヤ部材と貼りあわせて未加硫タイヤを成形し、加硫することによってタイヤ(195/65R15)を製造した。
ブレーカーに、本発明のブレーカートッピング用ゴム組成物を使用し製造した195/65R15サイズのタイヤを用いて、台上でタイヤの転がり抵抗値を測定した。比較例1の値を基準として、転がり抵抗向上代を算出した。転がり抵抗向上代の値がマイナスの値で、その値の絶対値が大きいほど、低転がり抵抗化が達成できていることを示す。

- 変性ブタジエンゴムおよび/または変性スチレンブタジエンゴムを10〜45重量%、
ならびに天然ゴムおよび/またはイソプレンゴムを55〜90重量%を含む
ゴム成分(ただし、1,2−シンジオタクチックポリブタジエン結晶を含有するブタジエンゴムを含まない)100重量部に対して、
カーボンブラックを15〜50重量部および
シリカを5〜50重量部含有するブレーカートッピング用ゴム組成物。
