- 第1基板と、前記第1基板に対して間隔を隔てて対面している第2基板と、前記第1基板と前記第2基板とが対面している間に設けられている液晶層とを含む液晶パネルを有し、前記第1基板と前記第2基板とが対面している面にて複数の画素が設けられた画素領域において、前記第1基板の側から前記第2基板の側へ照明された照明光が透過し画像が表示される液晶表示装置であって、
前記画素領域において、光が散乱して透過する光散乱層
を、さらに有し、
前記光散乱層は、前記第1基板において前記照明光が照明される面の側に設けられている
液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1基板において前記照明光が照明される面の側に設けられている光学フィルム
を、さらに有し、
前記光散乱層は、接着材料を含むように構成されており、前記第1基板と前記光学フィルムとの間において、前記接着材料によって前記第1基板と前記光学フィルムとを接着する、
