Abstract
【解決手段】エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体及び有機過酸化物を含む樹脂組成物のEVAシート2枚を、ポリビニルブチラールを含む樹脂組成物のPVBシートを介して押圧積層する工程を含む合わせガラス用中間膜の製造方法において、上記工程において、ポリビニルブチラールを含む樹脂組成物をTダイからシート状に加熱押し出しし、次いで得られた軟化状態のPVBシートを、一対のロール間に搬送された2枚のEVAシートの間に挿入することを特徴とする合わせガラス用中間膜の製造方法。

Description
エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体及び有機過酸化物を含む樹脂組成物のEVAシート2枚を、ポリビニルブチラールを含む樹脂組成物のPVBシートを介して押圧積層する工程を含む合わせガラス用中間膜の製造方法において、
上記工程において、ポリビニルブチラールを含む樹脂組成物をシート状に加熱押し出しし、得られた軟化状態のPVBシートを2枚のEVAシートの間に挿入することを特徴とする合わせガラス用中間膜の製造方法;及び
エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体及び有機過酸化物を含む樹脂組成物のEVAシート2枚を、ポリビニルブチラールを含む樹脂組成物のPVBシートを介して押圧積層する工程を含む合わせガラス用中間膜の製造方法において、
上記工程において、ポリビニルブチラールを含む樹脂組成物をTダイからシート状に加熱押し出しし、得られた軟化状態のPVBシートを、一対のロール間に搬送された2枚のEVAシートの間に挿入することを特徴とする合わせガラス用中間膜の製造方法;
により達成される。
(1)ポリビニルブチラールを含む樹脂組成物の加熱押し出し温度が、150〜250℃の範囲、特に180〜220℃の範囲にある。ポリビニルブチラールの溶融に好適である。
(2)EVAシート2枚の温度が、0〜50℃の範囲、特に10〜40℃の範囲にある。PVBシートとEVAシートの圧着が良好に行うことができる。
(3)Tダイの温度が、150〜250℃の範囲、特に180〜220℃の範囲にある。ポリビニルブチラールの溶融に適当である。
(4)ロールの温度が、−20〜40℃の範囲、特に0〜30℃の範囲にある。PVBシートの軟化状態を、EVAシートとの圧着が良好に行うことができるように制御することができる。
(5)ロールが、エンボスロール又はガイドロールである。特にエンボスロールが好ましい。同時にエンボス加工が可能である。
(6)加熱押し出しされたPVBシートを押し出し後5秒以内、さらに3秒以内、特に1〜3秒の間に2枚のEVAシートの間に挿入する。PVBシートの軟化状態を、EVAシートとの圧着が良好に行うことができるように制御することができる。
(7)各EVA層の厚さが0.1〜1.0mmの範囲にある。上限を超えると中間膜の厚さとして大きすぎ、得られる積層体が嵩ばり、また透明度も低下することから好ましくない。一方、下限未満の場合は、EVA層の特性(例、低温での高い粘弾性、耐湿性、遮音性)の寄与が十分でない。EVA層の厚さが0.1〜0.5mmの範囲にあることが特に好ましい。また、上記の観点から、特に、2層合計のEVA層の厚さが0.1〜1.0mmの範囲にあることが好ましい。
(8)各PVB層の厚さが0.1〜2.0mmの範囲にある。上限を超えると中間膜の厚さとして大きすぎ、得られる積層体が嵩ばり、また透明度も低下することから好ましくない。一方、下限未満の場合は、PVBの特性(例、常温での高い粘弾性)の寄与が十分でない。PVB層の厚さが0.1〜1.0mmの範囲にあることが特に好ましい。
(9)エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体の酢酸ビニル単位が、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して23〜38質量%の範囲である。優れた透明性を示す。
(10)エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体が、有機過酸化物を、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して0.05〜4.0質量部(特に0.05〜1.0質量部)含有している。
(1)2枚の透明基板が共にガラス板である。
(2)2枚の透明基板の一方がガラス板で、他方がプラスチックフィルムである。
下記の配合を原料としてカレンダ成形法により長尺状のEVAシート(幅1.0m、長さ200m、厚さ0.2mm)を得た。尚、配合物の混練は、80℃で15分行い、またカレンダロールの温度は80℃、加工速度は5m/分であった。

EVA樹脂(酢酸ビニル含有量26重量%): 100
架橋剤(1,1−ビス(t−ブチルパーオキシ)3,3,5−トリ
メチルシクロヘキサン): 2.0
シランカップリング剤(γ−メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン):0.5
架橋助剤(トリアリルイソシアヌレート): 2.0
紫外線吸収剤(2,2’−ジヒドロキシ−4,4’−ジメトキシ
ベンゾフェノン): 0.15
(PVBシート形成用配合(質量部))
PVB樹脂(アセタール化度66モル%): 100
可塑剤(トリエチレングリコール−ジ(2−エチルブチレート)): 33
紫外線吸収剤(2,2’−ジヒドロキシ−4,4’−ジメトキシ
ベンゾフェノン): 0.15
の樹脂組成物を、図1に示すように押出機1に投入してTダイ(200℃)2よりシート状(200℃)に押し出しし、押し出されたPVBシート3を、一対のロール5A,5B(10℃)に搬送された上記で得られたEVAシート4A,4Bの間に挿入した。これにより、3枚のシートは一対のロール5A,5Bにより圧着されて、EVAシート4A/PVBシート3/EVAシート4B(厚さ0.2mm/0.8mm/0.2mm)からなる積層体の中間膜6が得られた。
実施例1におけるEVAシート形成用配合及びPVBシート形成用配合を用いて、3層押出用Tダイ(200℃)を用いてEVAシート4A/PVBシート3/EVAシート4Bからなる積層体の中間膜6を製造しようと試みた。しかしながら、EVAシート形成用配合の樹脂組成物が、Tダイ内でゲル化したため製造できなかった。
実施例1で得られた中間膜を用いて、合わせガラスを作製して評価した。
JIS−R−3211(1998年)に記載の方法に従って、一方のガラス面から衝撃を加えて、その耐貫通特性を調査した。衝撃により、貫通した場合を○、貫通しなかった場合を×とした。
JIS−A−1416(2000年)に記載の方法に従って音響透過損失を調査し、3000〜5000Hzの音の音響透過損失を調査した。35dB以上を○、未満を×とした。

Claims (16)
- エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体及び有機過酸化物を含む樹脂組成物のEVAシート2枚を、ポリビニルブチラールを含む樹脂組成物のPVBシートを介して押圧積層する工程を含む合わせガラス用中間膜の製造方法において、
上記工程において、ポリビニルブチラールを含む樹脂組成物をシート状に加熱押し出しし、得られた軟化状態のPVBシートを2枚のEVAシートの間に挿入することを特徴とする合わせガラス用中間膜の製造方法。 - エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体及び有機過酸化物を含む樹脂組成物のEVAシート2枚を、ポリビニルブチラールを含む樹脂組成物のPVBシートを介して押圧積層する工程を含む合わせガラス用中間膜の製造方法において、
上記工程において、ポリビニルブチラールを含む樹脂組成物をTダイからシート状に加熱押し出しし、得られた軟化状態のPVBシートを、一対のロール間に搬送された2枚のEVAシートの間に挿入することを特徴とする合わせガラス用中間膜の製造方法。 - ポリビニルブチラールを含む樹脂組成物の加熱押し出し温度が、150〜250℃の範囲にある請求項1又は2に記載の製造方法。
- EVAシート2枚の温度が、0〜50℃の範囲にある請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- Tダイの温度が、150〜250℃の範囲にある請求項2〜4のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- ロールの温度が、−20〜40℃の範囲にある請求項2〜5のいずれか1項に記の製造方法。
- ロールが、エンボスロール又はガイドロールである請求項2〜6のいずれか1項に記の製造方法。
- 加熱押し出しされたPVBシートを押し出し後5秒以内に2枚のEVAシートの間に挿入する請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- 各EVA層の厚さが0.1〜1.0mmの範囲にある請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- 各PVB層の厚さが0.1〜2.0mmの範囲にある請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体の酢酸ビニル単位が、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して23〜38質量%の範囲である請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体が、有機過酸化物を、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して0.05〜4.0質量部含有している請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法により得られた合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 請求項13に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜を、2枚の透明基板の間に狭持して、架橋一体化されてなる合わせガラス。
- 2枚の透明基板が共にガラス板である請求項14に記載の合わせガラス。
- 2枚の透明基板の一方がガラス板で、他方がプラスチックフィルムである請求項14に記載の合わせガラス。
