Abstract
【解決手段】シャフト部材2と、該シャフト部材2の半径方向外側に配設されたイオン導電剤含有弾性層3と、該イオン導電剤含有弾性層3の半径方向外側に配設された表層4と、該イオン導電剤含有弾性層3と表層4との間に更に中間層5とを備え、イオン導電剤含有弾性層3、表層4及び中間層5が紫外線硬化型樹脂を含み、中間層5の厚さが11μm以上であることを特徴とする導電性ローラ1である。

前記イオン導電剤含有弾性層と表層との間に更に中間層を備え、
前記イオン導電剤含有弾性層、表層及び中間層が紫外線硬化型樹脂を含み、
前記中間層の厚さが11μm以上であることを特徴とする。
以下に、本発明の導電性ローラを、図1を参照しながら詳細に説明する。図1は、本発明の導電性ローラの一例の断面図である。図示例の導電性ローラ1は、長さ方向両端部を軸支されて取り付けられるシャフト部材2と、該シャフト部材2の半径方向外側に配設されたイオン導電剤含有弾性層3と、該イオン導電剤含有弾性層3の半径方向外側に配設された表層4と、該イオン導電剤含有弾性層3と表層4との間に配設された中間層5とを備える。また、図示例の導電性ローラ1において、表層4は微粒子6を含むが、本発明の導電性ローラにおいては、表層4が微粒子を含有することは必須ではない。
本発明の画像形成装置は、上述した導電性ローラを備えることを特徴とし、現像ローラ及び帯電ローラの少なくとも一方として備えることが好ましい。本発明の画像形成装置は、上記導電性ローラを用いる以外、特に制限はなく、公知の方法で製造することができる。
2官能で分子量5,500の高純度ポリオール[プレミノールS−4006、旭硝子(株)製、プロピレンオキシド(PO)鎖からなるポリオール、水酸基価=21.1mgKOH/g]100質量部、イソホロンジイソシアネート6.69質量部[イソシアネート基/ポリオールの水酸基=8/5=1.60(モル比)]、及びジブチルスズジラウレート0.01質量部を加温撹拌混合しながら、70℃で2時間反応させて、分子鎖の両末端にイソシアネート基を有するウレタンプレポリマーを合成した。更に、このウレタンプレポリマー100質量部に2-ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート(HEA)2.62質量部を撹拌混合し、70℃で2時間反応させて、分子量が11,000のウレタンアクリレートオリゴマー(A)を合成した。得られたウレタンアクリレートオリゴマー(A)は、B型粘時計で測定した25℃での粘度が60,000mPasであった。
得られた導電性ローラを組み込んだカートリッジを50℃の光を遮蔽した熱風循環式オーブン内に5日間放置した後取り出し、20℃、50%RHの環境下で1時間放置した後、グレー色の画像を50枚印刷し、目視にて下記の基準により評価した。
10枚以内で汚染跡が消失したものを「○」、11〜20枚の範囲内で汚染跡が消失したものを「△」、20枚を超えて印刷しても汚染跡が消失しないものを「×」とした。

Claims (4)
- シャフト部材と、該シャフト部材の半径方向外側に配設されたイオン導電剤含有弾性層と、該イオン導電剤含有弾性層の半径方向外側に配設された表層とを備える導電性ローラにおいて、
前記イオン導電剤含有弾性層と表層との間に更に中間層を備え、
前記イオン導電剤含有弾性層、表層及び中間層が紫外線硬化型樹脂を含み、
前記中間層の厚さが11μm以上であることを特徴とする導電性ローラ。 - 前記表層の厚さが7〜11μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の導電性ローラ。
- 前記紫外線硬化型樹脂が、アクリルウレタン樹脂を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の導電性ローラ。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の導電性ローラを用いた画像形成装置。
