Abstract
Description
a)1種又はそれ以上のイソシアネート官能性ポリエーテル基材プレポリマー;
b)1種又はそれ以上のイソシアネート官能性ポリエステルプレポリマー(このプレポリマーの製造に使用される1種又はそれ以上のポリエステルは45〜59℃の融点を有する);
c)3又はそれ以上の公称官能価を有する1種又はそれ以上のポリイソシアネート;
d)1種又はそれ以上の非導電性カーボンブラック;及び
e)イソシアネート部分とヒドロキシル基との反応のための1種又はそれ以上の触媒
を含んでなる組成物である。好ましい一実施態様において、本発明は更に、プレポリマーの製造に使用される1種又はそれ以上のポリエステルが60〜90℃の融点を有する、1種又はそれ以上のイソシアネート官能性ポリエステルプレポリマーを含んでなる。
i)車両から窓を取り外し;
ii)交換窓に又は車両中に窓を保持するように構成された車両フランジに本発明に係る組成物を適用し;
iii)車両フランジ及び交換窓を、交換窓と車両フランジとの間に配置された組成物と接触させ;そして
iv)接着剤を硬化させる
ことを含んでなる車両窓の交換方法である。
平均分子量2,000のポリオキシプロピレンジオール980gを平均分子量4500のポリオキシプロピレントリオール595g及び平均分子量5400のスチレンアクリロニトリル分散ポリオキシプロピレントリオール455gと混合することによって、ポリエーテルポリウレタンプレポリマーを製造した。混合は、反応器中で混合物を48℃に加熱することによって実施した。この混合物にジフェニルメタン−4,4’−ジイソシアネート320g及びオクタン酸第一錫0.17gを添加した。次いで、混合物全体を80℃において1時間反応させた。最後に、混合物にフタル酸ジアリル可塑剤1120gを添加し、混合を1時間続けた。
フタル酸ジアルキル可塑剤175gを反応器に装入して、48℃に加熱することによって、ポリエステルポリウレタンプレポリマーを製造した。これに、ジフェニルメタン−4,4’−ジイソシアネート(MDI)108gを添加し、MDIを確実に溶融させるために混合した。次いで、溶融線状コポリエステルジオール(Dynacoll 7381)717gをゆっくりと添加し、30分間反応させた。許容される最大温度は88℃であった。使用したポリエステルは60〜62℃の融点を示した。
反応器にフタル酸ジアルキル175gを装入して、48℃に加熱することによって、ポリエステルポリウレタンプレポリマーを製造した。これに、ジフェニルメタン−4,4’−ジイソシアネート108gを添加し、MDIを確実に溶融させるために混合した。次いで、溶融線状コポリエステルジオール(Dynacoll 7330)717gをゆっくりと添加し、30分間反応させた。許容される最大温度は88℃であった。使用したポリエステルは80〜85℃の融点を示した。
反応器にジフェニルメタン−4,4’−ジイソシアネート150gを装入して、48℃に加熱することによって、ポリエステルポリウレタンプレポリマーを製造した。次いで、溶融線状ポリエステルジオール(Dynacoll 7360)850gをゆっくりと添加し、混合した。材料を30分間反応させた。最大許容温度は88℃であった。使用したポリエステルは53〜55℃の融点を示した。
接着剤は全て、以下の配合方法に従って以下の表1及び2に記載した原料の割合を用いて製造した。異なる製剤間の唯一の変更点は、配合温度である。ポリエステルプレポリマーを含まない接着剤は室温で製造し;そうでない場合には、例2〜4の3種のポリエステルポリウレタンプレポリマーに関して混合容器をそれぞれ85℃、85℃及び55℃に加熱した。これら3種のプレポリマーの組合せを用いる場合には、混合容器は更に高い温度に上昇させた。混合容器は、使用するポリエステルポリウレタンプレポリマーに応じて所望の温度に加熱した。適当量のポリエーテルプレポリマー及び多官能価イソシアネート(Desmodur(登録商標)N3300又はPAPT(登録商標)2020)を容器に装入し、真空下で15分間ガス抜きした。次に、ポリエステルポリウレタンプレポリマーを添加し、材料を真空下で更に15分間ガス抜きした。カーボンブラック及びクレイ充填剤を添加し、充填剤がプレポリマーによって充分に湿潤されるまで真空下で低速で5分間混合した。混合速度を増加させ、充填剤を20分間分散させた。最後に、ジモルホリノジエチルエーテル及びオクタン酸ビスマス触媒並びにN−メチルピロリドンを混合容器に加え、混合物を真空下で更に10分間混合した。
DMA弾性率: 完全に硬化した接着剤の貯蔵弾性率を、TA Instruments製のDMAを用いてASTM Method D4065に従って25℃において測定した。
表1に、試験した製剤及び結果を記載した。
Claims (9)
- a)1種又はそれ以上のイソシアネート官能性ポリエーテル基材プレポリマー;
b)1種又はそれより多いポリエステルから製造される、融点が40〜59℃の1種又はそれ以上のイソシアネート官能性ポリエステルプレポリマー;
c)3又はそれ以上の公称官能価を有する1種又はそれより多いポリイソシアネート;
d)1種又はそれより多い非導電性カーボンブラック;及び
e)イソシアネート部分とヒドロキシル基との反応のための1種又はそれ以上の触媒
を含んでなる組成物。 - プレポリマーの製造に使用される1種又はそれ以上のポリエステルが融点60〜90℃の1種又はそれ以上のイソシアネート官能性ポリエステルプレポリマーを更に含む請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記イソシアネート官能性ポリエーテルプレポリマーが有機ポリマーの粒子を含む1種又はそれ以上の分散ポリオールを含む請求項1又は2に記載の組成物。
- a)1種又はそれ以上のイソシアネート官能性ポリエーテル基材プレポリマーが25〜55%の量で存在し;
b)プレポリマーの製造に使用される1種又はそれ以上のポリエステルが45〜55℃の融点を有する1種又はそれ以上のイソシアネート官能性ポリエステルプレポリマーが1〜5%の量で存在し;
c)1種又はそれ以上の多官能価イソシアネートが1〜8%の量で存在し;
d)1種又はそれ以上の非導電性カーボンブラックが5〜25%の量で存在し;
e)イソシアネート部分とヒドロキシル基との反応のための1種又はそれ以上の触媒が0.005〜2%の量で存在し;且つ
f)プレポリマーの製造に使用される1種又はそれ以上のポリエステルが75〜90℃の融点を有する1種又はそれ以上のイソシアネート官能性ポリエステルプレポリマーが1〜5%の量で存在する
請求項2又は3に記載の組成物(百分率は組成物の重量に基づく)。 - 前記組成物が、硬化時にASTM D4065に従って25℃において測定された弾性率が2.0MPa又はそれより大きく;体積抵抗率が5×1010Ωcm又はそれより大きく;未硬化サンプルの垂れが2mm未満であり;加圧流動粘度が20〜50であり;且つ貯蔵弾性率が5.3×105Pa又はそれより大きい請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の組成物。
- 2つ又はそれより多い基体を、基体が接触する領域の少なくとも一部にそって配置された請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の組成物と接触させることを含んでなる2つ又はそれ以上の基体の接着方法。
- 前記基体の少なくとも1つが窓ガラスである請求項6に記載の方法。
- 他方の基体の少なくとも1つが建物又は車両である請求項7に記載の方法。
- i)車両から窓を取り外し;
ii)交換窓に又は窓を車両中に保持するように構成された車両フランジに請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載された組成物を適用し;
iii)車両フランジ及び交換窓を、交換窓と車両フランジとの間に配置された組成物と接触させ;そして
iv)接着剤を硬化させる
ことを含んでなる車両窓の交換方法。
e)イソシアネート部分とヒドロキシル基との反応のための1種又はそれ以上の触媒が0.005〜2%の量で存在し;且つ
f)プレポリマーの製造に使用される1種又はそれ以上のポリエステルが60〜90℃の融点を有する1種又はそれ以上のイソシアネート官能性ポリエステルプレポリマーが1〜5%の量で存在する(百分率は組成物の重量に基づく)。
