Abstract
【解決手段】金属素材を鍛造により、防塵ブーツ用凹溝34の形成される開口端部20b側がピストン本体20a側よりも小径であって、全体が略均一の肉厚を有する有底円筒ピストン20を成形し、その後、開口端部20bの先端からピストン本体側に向けてしごき加工することにより、開口端部に肉盛部20cを設けて防塵ブーツ用凹溝34を成形する。

また、変形例として切欠き部を肉盛り部に円周方向3カ所設けた例で説明したが、切欠き部の数や大きさは適宜最適なものを選択して設定することが好ましい。

Claims (3)
- 鍛造により成形した有底円筒ピストンの開口端部に防塵ブーツ用凹溝を成形する有底円筒ピストンの防塵ブーツ用溝成形方法において、金属素材を鍛造により有底円筒体ピストンを成形し、その後、前記防塵ブーツ用凹溝の形成される開口端部側がピストン本体側よりも小径であって、全体が略均一の肉厚を有する有底円筒ピストンを口元絞り加工により成形し、さらにその後、開口端部の先端からピストン本体側に向けてしごき加工することにより、開口端部に肉盛部を設けて防塵ブーツ用凹溝を成形する有底円筒ピストンの防塵ブーツ用溝成形方法。
- 前記肉盛部の少なくとも一カ所に防塵ブーツ用凹溝と連通する切欠き部が形成されている請求項1に記載の有底円筒ピストンの防塵ブーツ用溝成形方法。
- 前記しごき加工前に、防塵ブーツ用溝成形予定箇所に割り型をセットする請求項1または2に記載の有底円筒ピストンのブーツ用溝成形方法。
