Abstract
Description
記憶媒体に情報を記憶するために、光スポット5(の強度)を調節することによりクロストークを避けることができ、中央ビット位置における活性層中に記憶すると、最も近い隣り合うビット位置における活性層中の情報は実質的に影響を受けない。クロストークの影響を減らす効果的方法は、近傍ビット位置14’における活性層2’からビット位置14における活性層2を効果的に保護することである。
Claims (11)
- 基板と、
データの保持のための活性層と、を有し、
前記活性層は、ビット位置の予め定められたパターンと共に設けられ、
前記基板は、近傍ビット位置間のクロストークを減少するためにビット位置の予め定められたパターンと共に設けられたことを特徴とする情報の光学的記憶及び検索のための記憶媒体。 - 前記予め定められたパターンは、ビット位置の2次元ストリップを有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の記憶媒体。
- 前記予め定められたパターンは、少なくとも準六角形又は準正方形パターンを有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の記憶媒体。
- 前記ビット位置の中心間の距離dc*が0.84より小さく、望ましくは0.63よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の記憶媒体。
- 第1ビット位置における前記活性層とビット位置近傍における前記活性層の間の距離dal*が0.42より小さく、望ましくは0.3よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の記憶媒体。
- ビット位置の予め定められたパターンと共に基板を設け、
データの保持のための活性層を、実質的に前記ビット位置の場所で設けるステップを有し、
渦巻き形状のビット位置の2次元ストリップが前記基板上に設けられることを特徴とする情報の光学的記憶及び検索のための記憶媒体を製造することを特徴とする方法。 - 押し付け手段がビット位置の前記予め定められたパターンを生成するために用いられることを特徴とする請求項6記載の記憶媒体の製造方法。
- 前記基板と前記活性層の間に鏡層を設けるステップを更に有することを特徴とする請求項6又は7記載の記憶媒体の製造方法。
- 第1のビット位置における活性層と近傍ビット位置における活性層との間に熱絶縁層を設けるステップを更に有することを特徴とする請求項6又は7記載の記憶媒体の製造方法。
- 請求項6又は7記載の製造方法によって設けられた活性層において情報がコード化されたことを特徴とする情報が書き込まれた記録担体。
- 記録担体は光ディスクであることを特徴とする請求項10記載の記録担体。
