Abstract

Description

  The present invention relates to a club head, and more particularly to a club head having a low center of gravity and an excellent vibration damping effect.

  When playing golf, in order to hit the ball as high and high as possible, the golfer's swing posture, striking force, selection of the golf club, and the quality of the golf club design are also important. As a golf club, the design of the club head is particularly decisive.

  The harder the club head, the harder the material of one of the key points, the harder it is to break, but the effect of dampening the vibrations that occur after hitting the ball is not good. As the energy is consumed, the flight distance is shortened and the vibration is transmitted to the golfer's hand, causing injury.

  Another key point of the club head, the overall center of gravity, is one that has a high center of gravity, which is suitable only for strong golfers because the flight trajectory of the hit ball is low, while the center of gravity is low. The struck ball is highly suitable for both weak golfers and beginners because the hit ball flies high. Further, if the center of gravity is too close to the hitting face, the club head is twisted extremely at the time of impact and the balance is lost.   In some cases, the center of gravity of the club head necessary for the golfer is also different, and it is considered that the weight of the center of gravity of the entire club head can be changed according to the request.

  The present invention, based on the design theory of the club head as described above, has a deep center of gravity depth (distance from the ball striking face to the center of gravity) closer to the rear than the ball striking face of the entire head and a low center of gravity. The aim is to provide an excellent club head.

  In addition to the above, another object is to provide a club head whose center of gravity can be easily changed.

  In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a club head having a front surface portion having a face for hitting a ball and a rear frame portion extending rearward from the front surface portion. There is provided a club head in which a depression is formed at the lower side, the depression is filled with a vibration damping material having a depression, and the depression of the vibration damping material is filled with a balance weight.   As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the club head 2 of the present invention basically has a front surface portion 20 (that is, a ball striking surface) provided with a face 201 for hitting a ball, and extends rearward from the front surface portion 20.   The present invention can be applied to a general club head, whether it is a wood club head or an iron club head, and has a deep center of gravity depth, a low center of gravity, and an excellent vibration damping effect.
