Abstract
【課題】野生獣に対して食害防止効果が高く、人体および環境に対する安全性が高く、しかも、長期に亘って食害防止効果を持続することのできる野生獣食害防止剤を提供すること。
【解決手段】卵黄および卵白を有効成分として含有する野生獣食害防止剤、乾燥卵黄および乾燥卵白を有効成分として含有する野生獣食害防止剤、乾燥全卵を有効成分として含有する野生獣食害防止剤および前記野生獣食害防止剤を、野生獣の生息地域に処理することを特徴とする野生獣による食害防止方法。

Description
本発明は、造林木、農作物等の有用植物の野生獣による食害を防止するための野生獣食害防止剤に関する。
ニホンジカ、ノウサギ、カモシカ等の野生獣は造林木、農作物の新芽などを食害する等有用植物を加害し、重大な被害を与えるため、これらの被害対策上、有効な食害防止剤が望まれている。このような野生獣による食害防止に関しては、従来から有害哺乳動物用の忌避剤が使用されており、国内では、ジラム水和剤（商品名：コニファー）、イソプロチオラン水和剤（商品名：ツリーセーブ）、チウラム剤（商品名：レント、アンレス）、石油アスファルト剤（ブラマック）などが市販されている。また、海外では、腐敗卵剤（商品名：ディアアウェイ）、カプサイシン剤（商品名：ホットソース）、高級脂肪酸アンモニウム石鹸剤（商品名：ヒンダー）などが市販されている。また、乾燥卵黄を有効成分とする食害防止剤も提案されている（例えば特許文献１参照）。
しかしながら、これらの忌避剤や食害防止剤は、その効果の安定性、持続性、人体および環境に対する安全性等において、必ずしも充分でなく、改善が切望されている。
本発明は、このような事情に鑑みなされたもので、野生獣に対して食害防止効果が高く、人体および環境に対する安全性が高く、しかも、長期に亘って食害防止効果を持続することのできる野生獣食害防止剤を提供することを目的としている。
以上の目的を達成するため、本発明者は、種々の検討を重ねた結果、卵黄と卵白とを有効成分として含有する野生獣食害防止剤が上記目的に合致することを見出し、本発明に至った。
すなわち、本発明は、
１．卵黄および卵白を有効成分として含有する野生獣食害防止剤；
２．乾燥卵黄および乾燥卵白を有効成分として含有する野生獣食害防止剤；
３．乾燥全卵を有効成分として含有する野生獣食害防止剤；
４．前項１、２または３に記載の野生獣食害防止剤を、野生獣の生息地域に処理することを特徴とする野生獣による食害防止方法を提供するものである。
１．卵黄および卵白を有効成分として含有する野生獣食害防止剤；
２．乾燥卵黄および乾燥卵白を有効成分として含有する野生獣食害防止剤；
３．乾燥全卵を有効成分として含有する野生獣食害防止剤；
４．前項１、２または３に記載の野生獣食害防止剤を、野生獣の生息地域に処理することを特徴とする野生獣による食害防止方法を提供するものである。
本発明の野生獣食害防止剤は、野生獣の食害に対して、高く、長期間に亘る食害防止効果を発現する。また、その有効成分は、もともと食品としても利用されるものであり、人体および環境に対して極めて安全性も高い食害防止剤である。
本発明の野生獣食害防止剤において、対象とする野生獣とは、有用植物に食害をもたらすニホンジカ、ノウサギ、カモシカ等の動物をいう。
本発明の野生獣食害防止剤において、有効成分である卵黄および卵白としては、例えば鶏卵、うずら卵、アヒル卵等の鳥類の卵由来の卵黄および卵白を用いることができる。かかる卵黄および卵白としては、新鮮な生全卵をそのまま用いることもでき、また、乾燥全卵粉末、乾燥卵黄粉末、乾燥卵白粉末等の乾燥粉末品、液卵品、冷凍品等の加工品を用いることもできる。
本発明の野生獣食害防止剤において、卵黄と卵白の含有比率は、乾燥重量比で１：１〜１：０．１が望ましい。また混合物に代えて卵黄と卵白を含む全卵を使用することも可能である。
このような卵黄および卵白は、これらをそのまま本発明の野生獣食害防止剤として用いることもできるが、通常は、常法に従い、これに水および必要に応じて鉱物質担体、界面活性剤、防腐剤等の補助剤を混合し、ペースト剤、液剤に製剤するか、または、鉱物質担体、界面活性剤等の補助剤を混合し、粉剤、水和剤に製剤して用いられる。
本発明の野生獣食害防止剤を使用するに際しては、以下の形態を例示することができる。乾燥卵を用いる場合は、処理時に乾燥全卵粉末または、乾燥卵黄粉末と乾燥卵白粉末を適当な配合に混合した粉末を、有用植物の野生獣の加害を受けそうな部位に直接散布するか、または該粉末を約４〜３０倍の水に懸濁させて、散布する。生卵や液卵を用いる場合は、保存中の腐敗を防止するために、あらかじめ適当な防腐剤を添加し、前記と同様に使用することができる。この場合は、約２〜１５倍の水に懸濁させて散布する。なお、ここにおいて、水分を調整してゲル状とした卵ペーストを作成し、これを有用植物の野生獣の加害を受けそうな部位に塗布することによって処理することも可能であり、この場合はさらに長期間の食害防止効果の持続性も期待できる。
上記のようにして調製された製剤は、これをそのまま又は水で適当な濃度に希釈する等して、これを有用植物の野生獣の加害を受けそうな部位に散布、塗布などして施用する。施用量は、野生獣の種類、生息密度、被食害有用植物の種類や大きさのほか、季節、地形、気候等の自然条件によって適宜決めればよく、例えば水で希釈して散布する場合には、散布ムラをなくすという観点から、有用植物の野生獣の加害を受けそうな部位から、水希釈液が滴り落ちる程度の量を散布することが好ましい。
以下、実施例により本発明をさらに詳細に説明するが、本発明はこれらに限定されるものではない。
実施例１
鶏卵由来の乾燥全卵粉末、乾燥卵黄粉末および乾燥卵白粉末を用い、それぞれを所定濃度（ｗ／ｗ）になるよう水で希釈し、下記表１に記載の水希釈液を調製した。

神奈川県のシカによる食害の多発地域において、１１月にヒノキを植栽し、これに、上記で調製した水希釈液を散布した。散布量は、散布した水希釈液がヒノキから滴り落ちる程度とした。引き続き、１２月、翌年２月および同４月に食害の観察調査を行った（１区当たりヒノキ２５本で４連とし、各処理区計１００本とした）。結果を下記表１に示した。なお、同時に、ジラム水和剤の５倍水希釈液を調製し、前記と同様に散布し、比較観察した。
実施例２
鶏卵由来の乾燥全卵粉末、乾燥卵黄粉末、乾燥卵白粉末、生全卵および生卵白を用い、それぞれを所定濃度（ｗ／ｗ）になるよう水で希釈し、下記表２に記載の水希釈液を調製した。

奈良県のシカが多数生息している造林地において、６月にヒノキを植栽し、これに、上記で調製した水希釈液を散布した。散布量は、散布した水希釈液がヒノキから滴り落ちる程度とした。その後、２０日おきに食害の観察調査を行った（１区当たりヒノキ２５本で４連とし、各処理区計１００本とした）。結果を下記表２に示した。なお、同時に、ジラム水和剤の５倍水希釈液を調製し、前記と同様に散布し、比較観察した。

- 乾燥全卵を有効成分として含有する野生獣食害防止剤。
- 請求項１、２または３に記載の野生獣食害防止剤を、野生獣の生息地域に処理することを特徴とする野生獣による食害防止方法。
