Abstract
【解決手段】 互いに平行な表面に多層膜(21,22a)を形成した平板(16)を接合し、これを接合面に対して斜めの面(A)で切断して、内部に多層膜(21,22a)を有する平板(18)とする。平板(18)を接合面で分離してバー(19)とし、これを面(B,C)で切断して、斜面(13)以外の表面に多層膜(22b,24,25)を形成する。その後、斜面(13)にPBS膜を形成し、面(D)で切断して、プリズムとする。

Claims (2)
- 多層膜が設けられた第1の表面と、第1の表面に略平行で、多層膜が設けられた第2の表面と、第1の表面と第2の表面に対して傾斜し、420nm以下の波長の光のP偏光成分を透過させてS偏光成分を反射する多層膜が設けられた第3の表面を有するプリズムの製造方法において、
第1の表面および第2の表面にそれぞれ多層膜を設けた後に、第3の表面に多層膜を設けることを特徴とするプリズムの製造方法。 - プリズムの第2の表面が第1の表面と第3の表面に対向しており、
第3の表面に多層膜を設ける前に、第1の表面に420nm以下の波長の光を反射する多層膜を設けるとともに、第2の表面のうちの第3の表面に対向する領域側の第1の部位に、420nm以下の波長の光を部分的に透過させて部分的に反射する多層膜を設け、第2の表面のうちの第1の表面に対向する領域側の第2の部位に、420nm以下の波長の光を透過させる多層膜を設けておくことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプリズムの製造方法。
