Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、生体関連物質が表面に固定された粒子を含む液体を収容する手段と、固相基板上の任意の位置に前記粒子を含む液体を吐出する手段と、を備える、粒子アレイ製造装置を提供するものである。また、本発明は、前記粒子アレイ製造装置を用いて粒子アレイを製造する方法であって、前記粒子を含む液体を前記収容する手段に保持し、前記固相基板上の任意の位置に前記液体を吐出することにより、反応領域を形成する、粒子アレイの製造方法を提供するものである。

Description
に関する。
「粒子」を含む液体としては、一種類の生体関連物質を固定した粒子を含む液体を複数用いるのが、粒子混合時の制御の行いやすさから好ましい。種類の異なる液体は、それぞれお互いに混ざらないように個別に収容手段に収容され、個別に制御されながら吐出される。吐出制御を個別に行うことにより、単一種で反応領域を形成することや、種類の異なる液体を単一の反応領域内で任意の割合で混合し、2個以上の相異なる種類の粒子群からなる反応領域を形成することが可能である。

4μの直径のポリスチレンからなる球形ビーズに抗体タンパク質を固定化したものを数種類用意した。粒子はリン酸緩衝液に分散して粒子を含む液体(懸濁液)とした。

Claims (14)
- 生体関連物質が表面に固定された粒子を含む液体を収容する手段と、固相基板上の任意の位置に前記粒子を含む液体を吐出する手段と、を備える、粒子アレイ製造装置。
- 前記液体を吐出する手段がインクジェット法を用いる手段である、請求項1に記載の粒子アレイ製造装置。
- 前記収容する手段が、2以上の異なる種類の液体をそれぞれ個別に収容する手段である、請求項1又は2記載の粒子アレイ製造装置。
- 請求項1〜3の何れかに記載の粒子アレイ製造装置を用いて粒子アレイを製造する方法であって、前記粒子を含む液体を前記収容する手段に保持し、前記固相基板上の任意の位置に前記液体を吐出することにより、反応領域を形成する、粒子アレイの製造方法。
- 単一種の生体関連物質が固定された2個以上の粒子からなる、前記反応領域を形成する、請求項4に記載の粒子アレイの製造方法。
- 単一種の生体関連物質が固定された2種以上の相異なる粒子群からなる、前記反応領域を形成する、請求項4に記載の粒子アレイの製造方法。
- 前記生体関連物質が表面に固定され、識別可能なシグナルを有する粒子を含む液体を、前記収容する手段に個別に保持し、固相基板上に前記液体を吐出する請求項4に記載の粒子アレイの製造方法。
- 前記識別可能なシグナルが、粒子サイズ、粒子密度、粒子の着色、蛍光、磁性、及び放射線マーカーからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つである、請求項7に記載の粒子アレイの製造方法。
- 前記生体関連物質が核酸またはタンパク質である、請求項4に記載の粒子アレイの製造方法。
- 前記粒子の粒径が、0.02〜10μである、請求項4〜6のいずれか1項に記載の粒子アレイの製造方法。
- 前記粒子の粒径が、0.2〜5μである、請求項4〜6のいずれか1項に記載の粒子アレイの製造方法。
- 前記固相基板がマイクロタイタープレートである、請求項4に記載の粒子アレイの製造方法。
- 前記反応領域が基板表面のウェルに形成され、粒子直径より小さいギャップを介して基板のウェル側に密着されるカバープレートを更に有する、請求項4〜12のいずれか1項に記載の粒子アレイの製造方法。
- 前記固相基板およびカバープレートがガラスである請求項13に記載の粒子アレイの製造方法。
