Abstract
【解決手段】 (A)熱可塑性樹脂100質量部に対して(B)金属水酸化物50〜300質量部、(C)不飽和官能基を含有しない高重合度オルガノポリシロキサン0.1〜50質量部、(D)不飽和官能基含有オルガノポリシロキサン0.01〜10質量部、(E)パーオキサイド0.01〜5質量部からなるノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物または上記組成物に、更に、(F)貴金属触媒を加えたノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。

Description
すなわち、本発明は、(A)熱可塑性樹脂100質量部に対して、(B)無機系難燃剤40〜300質量部、(C)不飽和官能基を含有しない高重合度オルガノポリシロキサン0.1〜50質量部、(D)不飽和官能基含有オルガノポリシロキサン0.01〜10質量部、(E)有機過酸化物0.01〜5質量部からなるノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物であり、好適には、更に(F)成分の白金族元素含有触媒を、(C)、(D)成分の合計量に対して、白金族元素分として、1ppm〜5,000ppm添加したノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物である。
式1中、R1は炭素数1〜6の非置換又は置換一価炭化水素基、水酸基から選ばれる同種または異種の置換基である。このオルガノポリシロキサンの性状はオイル状、生ゴム状いずれであってもよい。
(式2中、R1は上述と同様の意味を示し、R2は不飽和官能基、aは0≦a≦3、bは0<b≦3、a+bは1≦a+b≦3の実数である。)
また、(D)不飽和官能基含有オルガノポリシロキサンの添加は、組成物のガラス転移点(Tg)を下げ、組成物を柔らかくする。(E)有機過酸化物による適度な(A)熱可塑性樹脂や(B)無機系難燃剤あるいは(C)不飽和官能基含有オルガノポリシロキサンの架橋は、網状の強固な難燃皮膜を形成させるため、難燃性は更に向上する。これら複数成分の相乗効果により、本発明の組成物は、硬度Aが85以下の柔らかさを有しながら、高い難燃性を発揮することができる。
上記の中でも、パーオキシケタール類やジアルキルパーオキサイド類に属する有機過酸化物は、発生する遊離ラジカル量の高いものが多いため、架橋に適している。
本発明における(E)成分の有機過酸化物の配合量は,(A)熱可塑性樹脂100質量部に対して、0.01〜5質量部が好ましい。
本発明における(F)白金族元素含有触媒は、(C)、(D)成分の合計量に対して、白金族元素分として1〜5,000ppmを配合することが好ましい。白金族元素含有触媒が配合されなくても、(C)不飽和官能基を含有しない高重合度オルガノポリシロキサンと(D)不飽和官能基含有オルガノポリシロキサンの配合により難燃効果の上昇が確認できるが、(F)白金族元素含有触媒の添加により、難燃性は更に上昇する。しかし、白金族元素分が5,000ppmを超えると、錯体形成による着色が見られることがあり、1ppm未満では難燃効果の向上が見られない場合がある。
また、本発明において使用可能な接着助剤としては、各種アルコキシシラン等を挙げることができる。
本発明のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物は、特に、難燃チューブまたは難燃シート成形用材料として優れている。
表1に示した各種原材料をラボプラストミルR250ミキサー(東洋精機社製)に入れ、140℃、30rpm、10分の条件で混合後、ペレットとして押出した後、150℃、1分間、1mm厚にプレス成形することにより、硬度試験用シートを作製した。また、上述のペレットを断面積2mm2の銅線上に0.8mmの厚さで被覆し、VW−1試験用の電線を作製した。
上記で調製した硬度試験用シートを用いて、その硬度AをISO868に準拠した方法で測定し、結果を表1に記載した。
(難燃性試験)
上記で調製したVW−1試験用の電線を用いて、UL規格のUL758VW−1「垂直難燃性試験」に準拠して、その難燃性を評価し合否を判定し、結果を表1に記載した。

(6)メチルビニルシリコーンオイル 全置換基中のビニル基量10モル%、25℃における粘度700mPa・s 信越化学工業社製、
(7)KF−96 ジメチルシリコーンオイル 25℃における粘度100万mPa・s 信越化学工業社製商品名、
(8)パーヘキサ3M パーオキシケタール型有機過酸化物、日本油脂社製、商品名、
(9)CAT−PL−1 白金錯体 白金量2% 信越化学工業社製、商品名。
[実施例の総括]
Claims (12)
- (A)熱可塑性樹脂100質量部に対して、(B)無機系難燃剤40〜300質量部、(C)不飽和官能基を含有しない高重合度オルガノポリシロキサン0.1〜50質量部、(D)不飽和官能基含有オルガノポリシロキサン0.01〜10質量部、(E)有機過酸化物0.01〜5質量部からなるノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
- 更に、(F)成分の白金族元素含有触媒が、(C)、(D)成分の合計量に対して、白金族元素分として、1ppm〜5,000ppm添加されたものであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
- (B)成分の無機系難燃剤が不飽和官能基含有シラン化合物で表面処理された無機系難燃剤と該シラン化合物以外の化合物で表面処理されているか又は表面処理されていない無機系難燃剤からなり、且つ両者の質量比率が0.5:99.5〜100:0であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
- 不飽和官能基含有シラン化合物の無機系難燃剤表面への処理量が無機系難燃剤量の0.001〜5質量%であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
- (B)成分の無機系難燃剤が金属水酸化物であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
- (D)成分の不飽和官能基含有オルガノポリシロキサンの25℃における粘度が10,000mPa・s以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7の何れか1項に記載のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
- (D)成分の不飽和官能基含有オルガノポリシロキサンの不飽和官能基の含有量が、ケイ素原子に結合する全置換基量に対して、2mol%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1〜8の何れか1項に記載のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
- (E)成分の有機過酸化物がパーオキシケタールもしくはジアルキルパーオキサイドであることを特徴とする請求項1〜9の何れか1項に記載のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
- (F)成分の白金族元素含有触媒の白金族元素が、白金、パラジウム及びロジウムから選択されるものであることを特徴とする請求項2〜10の何れか1項に記載のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
- 熱可塑性樹脂がポリオレフィン系樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1〜11の何れか1項に記載のノンハロゲン難燃樹脂組成物。
