Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.溶媒に溶解させた親水性ポリマーを調製すること、その親水性ポリマー溶媒 が水和剤を溶解または分散させるのに適し、約25容量%以下の水を含むこと; 上記親水性ポリマー溶媒に、水和剤を、親水性ポリマーと水和剤の総重量の 割合として約10%以下の量で添加すること、水和剤は溶解しているかまたは約 10ミクロン以下の粒度を有する超微細分散物であること; 基体を、上記親水性ポリマー溶媒中の親水性ポリマーと水和剤でコーティン グすること;および、 基体に接着し、湿潤させたとき潤滑性となり、所定の内在期間の間生理媒体 に接触させた後生理的に許容し得る潤滑性を保持し、挿入または取出し中に、 組織に生理的に許容し得ない創傷を与えるのを回避するのに十分平滑であり、 且つ所定の内在期間中組織に接触させた後生理的に許容し得る低い細胞付着性 を有する親水性コーティングを生成させることを特徴とする基体のコーティン グ方法。 2.水和剤が塩である、請求項1記載の方法。 3.さらに、疎水性ポリマーを上記親水性ポリマー溶媒に加えることを含む、請 求項1記載の方法。 4.さらに、疎水性ポリマー溶媒中に溶解させた疎水性ポリマーを調製しこの疎 水性ポリマーをベースコートとして基体に塗布し、上記親水性ポリマーと水和 剤を塗布する前に疎水性ポリマー溶媒を少なくとも一部蒸発させることを含む 、請求項1記載の方法。 5.水和剤を添加する工程が、親水性ポリマー溶液に直接水和剤を溶解させるこ とを含む、請求項1記載の方法。 6.水和剤の添加工程が、水和剤を水和剤溶媒に溶解させて水和剤溶液を調製し 、次いでこの水和剤を流れとして親水性ポリマー溶液中に添加して約10ミクロ ン以下の粒度を有する水和剤超微細分散物を生成させることを含む、請求項1 記載の方法。 7.水和剤溶媒が水を含む、請求項6記載の方法。 8.水和剤を添加する工程が、順序と関係なしに、酸を親水性ポリマー溶液に添 加し、塩基を親水性ポリマー溶液に添加して、この酸と塩基が互いに中和し合 って水和剤の超微細分散沈澱を生成するようにすることを含む、請求項1記載 の方法。 9.親水性ポリマーが約0.5%〜約50%(w/v)の親水性ポリマー溶媒中濃度を有 し、水和剤の濃度が固形分割合として少なくとも約20重量%である、請求項1 記載の方法。 10.請求項1の方法により製造された物品。 11.コーティングした基体を含む物品であって、そのコーティング組成物が、親 水性ポリマー;疎水性ポリマー;および、溶解水和剤と約10ミクロン以下の粒 度を有する超微細水和剤分散物とからなる群から選ばれた少なくとも約10重量 %の水和剤とを含み; および、溶解水和剤と約10ミクロン以下の粒度を有する超微細水和剤分散物と からなる群から選ばれた少なくとも約10重量%の水和剤とを含み、これらコー ティング各成分が一緒に混合させたときに相互に適合性があり、基体に接着し 、湿潤させたとき潤滑性となり、所定の内在期間の間生理媒体に接触させた後 生理的に許容し得る潤滑性を保持し、挿入または取出し中に組織に生理的に許 容し得ない創傷を与えるのを回避するのに十分平滑であり、且つ所定の内在期 間中組織に接触させた後生理的に許容し得る低い細胞付着性を有する親水性コ ーティングを形成することを特徴とする上記組成物。 16.水和剤が塩である、請求項15記載の組成物。 17.親水性ポリマーが、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリ エチレンオキサイド、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリエーテル、ポリサッカライ ド、親水性ポリウレタン、ポリヒドロキシアクリレート、ポリメタクリレート 、デキストラン、キサンサン、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、メチルセルロ ース;、N-ビニルピロリドン、N-ビニルラクタム、N-ビニルブチロラクタ ム、N-ビニルカプロラクタム、極性ペンダント基を有する他のビニル化合物 、親水性エステル化基を有するアクリレートまたはメタクリレート、ヒドロキ シアクリレートまたはアクリル酸のホモポリマーまたはコポリマー;およびこ れらの組合せからなる群から選ばれ;疎水性ポリマーが、セルロースエステル またはエーテル、エチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、硝酸セル ロース、酢酸セルロース、酢酸酪酸セルロース、酢酸プロピオン酸セルロース 、ポリウレタン、ポリアクリレート、天然または合成エラストマー、ゴム、ア セタール、ナイロン、ポリエステル、スチレンポリブタジエン、アクリル樹脂 、ポリ塩化ビニリデン、ポリカーボネート、ビニル化合物のホモおよびコポリ マー、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリ塩化ビニルアセテート、およびこれらの組合せか らなる群から選ばれる、請求項15記載の組成物。 18.水和剤が無機塩であり、親水性ポリマーがポリビニルピロリドンであり、疎 水性ポリマーがセルロースエステルおよびポリウレタンからなる群から選ば れる、請求項15記載の組成物。 19.さらに、基体を含み、上記コーティング組成物が少なくとも基体の一部に塗 布したフィルムを形成する、請求項15記載の組成物。 20.コーティングが、ウサギ尿道試験による約10個以下の付着赤血球と約50個以 下の上皮細胞を有する、請求項19記載の組成物。 21.フィルムが外側層と基体上の内側層を含み、外側層が親水性ポリマーと水和 剤を含み、内側層が疎水性ポリマーを含む、請求項20記載の組成物。 22.親水性ポリマーが、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリ エチレンオキサイド、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリエーテル、ポリサッカライ ド、親水性ポリウレタン、ポリヒドロキシアクリレート、ポリメタクリレート 、デキストラン、キサンサン、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、メチルセルロ ース;、N-ビニルピロリドン、N-ビニルラクタム、N-ビニルブチロラクタ ム、N-ビニルカプロラクタム、極性ペンダント基を有する他のビニル化合物 、親水性エステル化基を有するアクリレートまたはメタクリレート、ヒドロキ シアクリレートまたはアクリル酸のホモポリマーまたはコポリマー;およびこ れらの組合せからなる群から選ばれる、請求項21記載の組成物。 23.疎水性ポリマーが、セルロースエステルまたはエーテル、エチルセルロース 、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、硝酸セルロース、酢酸セルロース、酢酸酪酸 セルロース、酢酸プロピオン酸セルロース、ポリウレタン、ポリアクリレート 、天然または合成エラストマー、ゴム、アセタール、ナイロン、ポリエステル 、スチレンポリブタジエン、アクリル樹脂、ポリ塩化ビニリデン、ポリカーボ ボネート、ビニル化合物のホモおよびコポリマー、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリ塩化 ビニルアセテート、およびこれらの組合せからなる群から選ばれる、請求項21 記載の組成物。 24.水和剤が、無機塩、有機塩、塩化ナトリウム、塩化カルシウム、塩化カリウ ム、沃化カリウム、硝酸ナトリウム、アミン類、クエン酸ナトリウム、酢酸ナ トリウム、酢酸アンモニウム、安息香酸ナトリウム、およびこれらの組合せか らなる群から選ばれる、請求項21記載の組成物。 25.外側層がさらに約70%までの濃度で疎水性ポリマーを含む、請求項21記 載の組成物。 26.内側層がさらに約80%までの濃度で親水性ポリマーを含む、請求項21記載の 組成物。 27.外側層の水和剤が約10%〜約30%の濃度を有し、外側層の親水性ポリマーが 約25%〜約95%の濃度を有し、外側層の疎水性ポリマーが約0%〜約75%の濃 度を有する、請求項21記載の組成物。 28.外側層の水和剤が約15%〜約25%の濃度を有し、外側層の親水性ポリマーが 約50%〜約85%の濃度を有し、内側層の疎水性ポリマーが約20%〜約100%の 濃度を有する、請求項21記載の組成物。 29.水和剤が約20%の濃度を有し、親水性ポリマーが約75%〜約85%の濃度を有 し、外側層が約0%〜約5%の濃度の疎水性ポリマーを含む、請求項21記載の 組成物。 30.超微細水和剤を溶解または分散させるのに適し、約25容量%以下の水を含む 単一相溶媒液;この溶媒液に溶解させた親水性ポリマー;この溶媒液に溶解さ せた疎水性ポリマー;および、溶解しているかまたは約10ミクロン以下の粒度 を有する超微細分散物である水和剤であって、上記親水性ポリマーと水和剤の 総量の割合として約10%〜約50%の量の水和剤を含み; これらコーティング液成分が相互に適合性があって一緒に混合し、その結果 、基体に塗布し溶媒を除去したときに、基体に接着し、湿潤させたとき潤滑性 となり、所定の内在期間の間生理媒体に接触させた後生理的に許容し得る潤滑 性を保持し、挿入または取出し中に組織に生理的に許容し得ない創傷を与える のを回避するのに十分平滑であり、且つ所定の内在期間中組織に接触させた後 生理的に許容し得る低い細胞付着性を有する均質な親水性コーティングを形成 することを特徴とするコーティング液。 31.親水性ポリマーの濃度が約5〜約10%(w/v)であり、疎水性ポリマーの濃度が 約0.2%(w/v)以下であり、水の濃度が約10容量%以下であり、水和剤が塩であ る、請求項30記載のコーティング液。 32.溶媒が極性溶媒を含み、水和剤が溶解塩である、請求項30記載のコーティン グ組成物。 33.溶媒が、ケトン類、エステル類、トルエン、ラクトン類、ジメチルフォルム アミド、ハロゲン化溶媒類、テトラヒドロフラン、ジオキサン、アミン類、グ リコールブチルエーテル、酢酸アルキル類、アセトニトリル、ブチロラクトン 、酢酸エチル、アセトン、クロロホルム、メチルエチルケトン、塩化メチレン 、塩化エチレン、メタノール、エタノール、プロパノール、およびこれらの混 合物からなる群から選ばれる、請求項30記載のコーティング組成物。 34.親水性ポリマーがポリビニルピロリドンを含み、水和剤が無機塩であり、溶 媒混合物が、容量で、約11%〜約20%のブチロラクトン、約50%〜約80%の脂 肪族アルコール、約18%〜約30%のアセトン、約25%までのエチレングリコー ルまたはプロピレングリコール、約20%までのN-メチルピロリドン、約20% までのジメチルスルフォキシド、約15%までのグリセロール、約15%までの 水、およびこれらの組合せからなる群から選ばれた溶媒を含む、請求項30記載 のコーティング組成物。 35.基体のコーティング用キットであって、水和剤を溶解または分散させるのに 適し、有機溶媒と約25容量%までの量の水を含む単一相溶媒;該溶媒に溶解さ せた親水性ポリマー;該溶媒に溶解させた水和剤と約10ミクロン以下の粒度を 有する超微細分散物として該溶媒に分散させた水和剤からなる群から選ばれた 形の、上記親水性ポリマーと水和剤の総量の割合として約10%〜約50%の量の 水和剤;および有機溶媒に溶解させた疎水性ポリマーを含み; これらのキット成分が、一緒に混合したとき相互に適合性であり;基体に接 着し、湿潤させたとき潤滑性となり、挿入または取出し中に組織に生理的に許 容し得ない創傷を与えるのを回避するのに十分平滑であり、生理媒体に長時間 接触させた後生理的に許容し得る潤滑性を保持し、且つ長時間組織に接触させ た後生理的に許容し得る低い細胞付着性を有する均質な親水性コーティングを 形成し得ることを特徴とする上記キット。 36.親水性ポリマーが第1コーティング液中に存在し、疎水性ポリマーが第2コ ーティング液中に存在する、請求項35記載のコーティングキット。 37.溶媒に溶解させた親水性ポリマーを調製すること、その親水性ポリマー溶媒 が水和剤を溶解または分散させるのに適し、約25容量%以下の水を含むこ と; 上記親水性ポリマー溶媒に、水和剤を約10ミクロン以下の粒度を有する超微 細分散物として添加すること、その添加方法は、(a)水和剤を水和剤溶媒に溶 解させて水和剤溶液を調製し、次いでこの水和剤溶液を流れとして親水性ポリ マー溶液に添加して約10ミクロン以下の粒度を有する超微細水和剤粒子分散物 を調製すること、および(b)順序に関係なく、酸を親水性ポリマー溶液に散物 し、塩基を親水性ポリマー溶液に添加し、酸と塩基が相互に中和し合って水和 剤の超微細分散沈澱物を生成するようにすることから選ばれること; 基体を、上記親水性ポリマー溶媒中の親水性ポリマーと水和剤でコーティン グすること;および、 基体に接着し、湿潤させたとき潤滑性となり、所定の内在期間の間生理媒体 に接触させた後生理的に許容し得る潤滑性を保持し、挿入または取出し中に、 組織に生理的に許容し得ない創傷を与えるのを回避するのに十分平滑であり、 且つ所定の内在期間中組織に接触させた後生理的に許容し得る低い細胞付着性 を有する親水性コーティングを生成させることを特徴とする基体のコーティン グ方法。
