Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.酸化ジルコニウム、グラファイトおよび水を遊離する硬化反応の間にレジ ットを形成することが可能である樹脂バインダーを含むスラグラインスリーブを 形成するための組成物であって、前記酸化ジルコニウムはその結晶構造の中に安 定化量のCaOまたはMgOを任意に含み、改善は、前記樹脂が前記レジットを 形成するように硬化されるときに発生する収縮力を減殺する前記組成において含 まれる有効量のCaO含有粉末を具備し、前記CaO含有粉末は前記酸化ジルコ ニウムの結晶構造の中に含まれる前記任意のCaOまたはMgOからは分離し、 区別される組成物。 2.前記CaO含有粉末が硬焼石灰およびドロマから成る群より選択される請 求項1記載の組成物。 3.CaOまたはMgOで部分的に安定化された80〜90重量%の酸化ジル コニウム、10〜20%のグラファイト、5〜10%の酸化防止剤、その中に溶 解された40〜60重量%のフェノール樹脂を含む10〜20%のフェノール樹 脂溶液および約5%のドロマを含む請求項2記載の組成物。 4.約12%のグラファイト、約83%の酸化ジルコニウム、約5%のドロマ およびその中に溶解された約50重量%の前記フェノール樹脂を含むフルフルア ルデヒド溶媒を含む約11%のフェノール樹脂溶液を含む請求項3記載の組成物 。 5.溶融金属を注入するためのノズルを作るための方法であって、前記ノズル はボディ部分およびそれに接着するスラグラインスリーブ部分を具備し、前記ボ ディ部分は外側表面および内側表面領域を含む形状を有し、前記内側表面領域は 溶融金属の通路としてそれ全体に延びる内腔を規定し、前記スラグラインスリー ブ部分は連続鋳造型においてスラグ層と接触するための前記外側表面の少なくと も円周部分のまわりに位置し、前記方法は、樹脂バインダー、グラファイトおよ び金属酸化物耐火粒子を含む第1の混合物を前記ボディ部分の形状に成形し、次 いで前記第1の混合物の樹脂を硬化することにより前記ボディ部分を成形するこ とを具備し、酸化ジルコニウム、グラファイトおよび水を遊離する硬化反応の間 にレジットを形成することが可能な樹脂バインダーを含む第2の混合物を形成し 、 前記第2の混合物を前記外側表面の少なくとも円周部分に被覆し、ついで、レジ ットを形成するように前記第2の混合物の前記樹脂を硬化させ、前記酸化ジルコ ニウムはその結晶構造の中に安定化量のCaOまたはMgOを任意に含み、改善 は、前記第2の混合物の前記樹脂が前記レジットを形成するように硬化されると き発生する収縮力を減殺するように前記第2の混合物中に有効量のCaO含有粉 末の更なる含有を具備し、前記CaO含有粉末は、前記酸化ジルコニウムの結晶 構造の中に含まれる前記任意のCaOまたはMgOから分離され、区別される方 法。 6.前記第1の混合物がドロマ、グラファイトおよび樹脂バインダーを含む請 求項5記載の方法。 7.前記CaO含有粉末が硬焼石灰およびドロマから成る群より選択される請 求項6記載の方法。 8.前記第2の混合物が、CaOまたはMgOで部分的に安定化された80〜 90重量%の酸化ジルコニウム、10〜20%のグラファイト、5〜10%の酸 化防止剤、その中に溶解された40〜60重量%のフェノール樹脂を含む10〜 20重量%のフェノール樹脂溶液および約5重量%のドロマを含む請求項7記載 の方法。 9.前記第2の混合物が約12重量%のグラファイト、約83重量%の酸化ジ ルコニウム、約5重量%のドロマおよびその中に溶解された約50重量%の前記 フェノール樹脂を含むフルフラルデヒド溶媒を含む約11重量%のフェノール樹 脂溶液を含む請求項8記載の方法。 10.請求項5の方法により作られるノズル。 11.請求項6の方法により作られるノズル。 12.請求項7の方法により作られるノズル。 13.請求項8の方法により作られるノズル。 14.請求項9の方法により作られるノズル。 15.前記第1および第2の混合物の樹脂が炭化され、従って、前記ボディ部 分および前記スラグラインスリープ部分において炭素マトリックスを形成する炭 化条件に供される請求項10記載のノズル。
