Abstract
1457602 Sets NORTHERN ELECTRIC CO Ltd 14 Aug 1974 [14 Aug 1973] 35774/74 Heading H4J A telephone set (Fig. 1) can be mounted with its rearward base surface 13 mounted on a vertical wall 21 (Fig. 4) utilizing a bracket 23 (Fig. 5) or can be positioned with its forward base surface 12 on a desk or table (20) Fig. 3 (not shown), the bracket then being unused. The bracket 23 may be permanently attached to the wall by screws passing through two holes 28 or by use of two keyhole slots 32. Two studs 29 fit into keyhole slots (39) Fig. 6 (not shown) in the forward base surface 12 of the set. A captive screw 41 on the bracket 23 may be screwed into a hole (42) in the forward base surface 12 of the set. The cable to the set may be adjusted to a position suitable for wall or table mounting (Figs. 7, 8, not shown).
