1447422 Fixing furniture to walls ACR DESIGNS Ltd 20 Feb 1975 [21 Feb 1974] 7893/74 Heading A4U A wall fitting, e.g. cupboard or shelf unit, is provided with one or more battens 21-23 each having a flat rear face 22a to bear on a flat, upright support and a longitudinal slot 24 extending at an acute angle to the flat, rear face, whereby in use the article may be supported by engaging forwardly and upwardly extending projections 13 on the upright support in the slot 24. The upright support may comprise a metal plate 12 screwed to a wall, the projections 13 being pressed out from the plate.
