Abstract
1386958 Carpet sweepers PRESTIGE GROUP Ltd 29 Nov 1972 [1 Dec 1971] 55793/71 Heading A4F Each end spindle 6 of a rotary brush of a carpet sweeper is held in position by a latch comprising two elements 14 located one at each side of a web 11 and pivoted thereto by a pivot pin 15. Each spindle 6 is held in a notch 12 in the web 11 by engaging with it notches 18 in the elements 14 having part circular inner ends which are snap fitted on to the spindle 6. The latches may be incorporated in a sweeper having auxiliary brushes as described in Specification 1386957/71.
