1294952 Multi-storey buildings TERRAPIN Ltd 19 April 1971 [18 Feb 1970] 7771/70 Heading E1A In a multi-storey building comprising a series of wooden frames 10 forming the walls of a lower storey and a series of wooden frames forming walls of an upper storey, the lower frames each have uprights 14, 15 interconnected by cross bars 16 leaving projections 20, 21 proud thereof and the said lower frames are interconnected with a metal strip 24 therebetween, which strip has a portion extending above the projections for attachment to the upper frames seated on said projections. A floor beam 23 is secured to the above structure by U-shaped brackets 31 each having an end slot 36 as shown. [GB1294952A]
