Abstract

A curable material is introduced into a tool(10), areas(13) of whose molding surface have a negative structure(17). The negative structure creates a slip resisting surface in the standing area of the molded bathtubs. <??>Independent claims are also included for: <??>(1) a molding tool with a negative structure in the molding surface; <??>(2) a plastic bathtub body, in particular a shower tray or bath, with specific surface areas having a roughened texture created by particulate blasting of the molding tool surface.
