Abstract

The fastener consists of two expander parts, fitted into a bore (31) while collapsed, and expanded by a part moved by a lever hinged to the fitting. The expander parts (7) are parts of a stud, separated by a slot (9), and connected pivoted with their upper ends to the fitting. The moveable part is a flat spreader part pressed into the slot. The fitting is e.g. an assembly plate and is part of a hinge.
