Abstract

Described is a composition for cleaning ovens, stoves and grills, the composition containing as active ingredients on the one hand a basic primary material consisting, in particular, of an alkaline base such as sodium carbonate or potash and/or one or more amines and on the other hand a non-volatile solvent, the composition containing 10 to 30 % by wt. of a solvent mixture made up on the one hand of at least one propylene glycol ether and on the other hand of at least one dipropylene glycol ether, the ratio of propylene glycol ether to dipropylene glycol ether being between 30:70 and 90:10. The composition is suitable above all for use on self-cleaning ovens and stainless-steel ovens.
