Abstract

t is disclosed herein a heat sources detector able to nip long-distance forest fires in the bud, and prevent plural intentional attempts of fire responsible for a great rate of fires caused thereby. The proposed detector can also be used for military purposes as well as for the protection of isolated buildings or installations. It may be placed at a high point or -for better results- hung from a balloon (fig.1). It is composed of two multi-seated surfaces (fig.2.12 and 4.3) the one placed into another. Each seat of the outer surface is a converging lens (fig.3.1) and each seat of the inner surface bears, at its centre, a smaller light-sensitive surface 4.2, a property of which is modified with regard to the received radiation (e.g. light-sensitive resist 2
