991, 851. Sciascopic devices. LENTILLES OPTHALMIQUES RATIONNELLES S.A. Oct. 17, 1963 [Nov. 20, 1962], No. 41117/63. Heading G2J. A method of making a sciascopic device comprises forming a mould chamber by interposing a spacing member 13 between and in fluid tight contact with two superimposed mould forming elements 2, 3 one of which has a plurality of apertures 4 securing the apertures with die members 8-11 each having an inner curved surface to conform with the required lens shape, injecting a resin into the mould, setting the resin and removing it from the mould chamber. The sciascope may be rectangular as shown or circular and may be given a handle. The mould may be made of glass and member 13 of rubber.
