Abstract

989,872. Dispensing strip material. SELECTUS Ltd. May 2, 1962 [May 2, 1961], No. 15831/61. Heading A4G. A container from which two strips of material, e.g. fabric claimed in Specification 721,338, can be dispensed in mated relationship has a shaped outlet formed by a conduit 3 or by rods or rollers for bring- ing the strips together within the container and means for keeping the strips apart until they enter the outlet. As shown, the container is made of cardboard with a partition 1 extending to the conduit 3 and separating two compartments for strip rolls 4, 5 on tubes 13, the container also having a roll inspection slot 10, a slit 9 to receive the free ends of the strips and a slotted compartment 11 for leaflets. Alternatively the strips may be kept apart by guide posts or by mounting the rolls on pins or pegs. It is stated that the material may be arranged in zig-zag formation in the container.
