Abstract

985,012. Strips of staples. TIPPER TIE Inc. Feb. 7, 1963, No. 5049/63. Heading F2H. In an assembly strip of generally U-shaped clips, the clips are temporarily held together with their faces abutting, by two adhesively faced flexible tape bands 14, 15 positioned respectively on the top and side of the assembly. A further band of tape may be provided on the other side of the assembly. A clip of modified shape, Figs. 5, 6 (not shown) comprises a bar connecting the depending arms which is provided with a depressed ledge wherein the top band of tape can be placed. In another modification, Fig. 7, the clip is of modified U-shape, the bar 31 being provided with a depressed ledge 32.
