Abstract

1284025 Filing folders E A TIMSON 19 April 1971 [20 March 1970] 13659/70 Heading B6E A filing folder comprising covers C, Fig. 1, articulated to each other by a spine has the spine associated with an adhesively bonded or stapled channel member 1 whose flanges 1b 1c are adapted as sheet retaining members, whereby the flange 1b, Fig. 2, is cut along longitudinal lines 1d from opposite ends to define sheet retainer tongues 4 which when bent out of the plane of the flange 1b and passed through perforations in loose-leaves (not shown) are then passed through perforations 5 in the other flange 1c. In another embodiment (Fig. 4) the member 1 is integral with the covers and formed by appropriate folding of the filing folder blank.
