(not shown) comprises a carriage moved hydraulically along guide-tubes 9 and disposed behind the spindle 2, copying apparatus 4 on the carriage, and a template 15 on a support 16 rotatable about a horizontal axis to set the depth of cut at each pass or to produce a perpendicular shoulder on the work.
