Abstract
978,913. Vehicle wheels. R. BARNETT. Dec. 20, 1963 [Jan. 4, 1963], No. 551/63. Heading B7C. A spring vehicle wheel comprises bowed spokes 3 between a hub 1 and a rim 2 of corrugated construction, the spokes and rim being made of a resilient material such as glass fibre or spring steel. The spokes may be rod-like or of strip material, and in the latter case the flat strip surfaces extend in the direction of the wheel axle. The spokes are strengthened at 4 and 5 on the hub and rim respectively.
