Abstract

1,022,349. Toy vehicles. MELTOY CO. Ltd. May 15, 1964 [Feb. 27,1963], No. 7863/63. Heading A6S. A toy vehicle has wheel axles which can move up and down relative the vehicle, and a length of elastic tubing along and above said axle to act as springing. Three embodiments are described. The first shows an axle 3 movable up and down in elongated openings 6 in bearing members 4 comprising part of the chassis 2. An elastic tube 8 is trapped in a pocket 7 of the chassis 2 above the axle 3. In the second embodiment, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown), the pocket forms part of an interior member, while the axle only is carried in elongated openings in the chassis. In the third embodirnent, Figs. 5 and 6 (not shown), the said pocket and the axle openings are both formed in an interior member forming seats or other interior parts.
