Abstract

[Also in Division H2] A mounting clip preferably made of nylon comprises dissimilar cap and base clamp members which, in the embodiment shown in Fig. 5, are connected by a thin strip 13 of the same material. The cap and base have corresponding holes 15 and 19 to receive a single fixing screw, have ribbed semi-circular portions 14 and 14a to grip a cable, and are prevented from relative rotation by the engagement of a pin 17 on the cap with a blind hole 18 in the base. The clip as a whole is prevented from rotation during or after fixing by a peg 21 projecting from the base into a hole in the support member to which the clip is attached. An alternative embodiment, Figs. 1 (not shown) and 2, does not have a flexible strip connecting the cap and base, and rotation relative to a support is prevented by a peg c, on the tail portion of cap, projecting through a hole n in the base and into a hole in the support. Complementary walls h and j on the cap and base respectively act as locating elements prior to insertion of the fixing screw.
