Two girders for supporting shuttering have their upper booms connected together by a pin 7 passing through holes in forks 2, 5 on the respective girders and the pin has a lever 10 carrying a hook 11 adapted to be locked against the eccentric edge of the arm 13 of the fork 2. The lower booms of a twin boom girder are of C-section, a pin 7 passing through plates welded to these booms. The lower booms of one girder fit between the lower booms of another girder.
