[Also in Division B8] A blank for a transparent meat container comprises a semi-rigid plastics sheet 2 with perforations 6 spaced about it encased in an envelope of two sheets of flexible gas permeable plastics film 4, the two sheets of film being sealed about their periphery. The semi-rigid sheet may be of a biaxially oriented polystyrene and the films may be of cellulose acetate. Alternatively, polyethylene, rubber hydrochloride, polyvinyls, or various cellulose ethers and esters may be used.
