Abstract
818,948. Packages for medicaments. UPJOHN CO. March 8, 1956 [March 21, 1955], No. 7319/56. Class 94(1). A package for glycerol-plasticized gelatin medicament capsules 10 which is sterilized by ionizing radiation after completion, has a transparent plastic sheet envelope, and a film of water impervious material imposed between the capsules and the envelope inner surface to prevent fogging of the envelope by plasticizer vapourized during sterilization. The film may be applied to the envelope or the capsules and may be of varnish, lacquer, shellac or the like. U.S.A. Specifications 2,236,546, 2,321,764, 2,354,060, 2,430,726, 2,489,026, 2,561,010 and 2,667,268 are referred to.
