Abstract

964,825. Bags. CELLOPLAST A.B. April 5, 1962 [April 5, 1961], No. 13149/62. Heading A4G. A bag made of weldable material such as polyethylene or polypropylene in the form of a seamless tube sealed at one end by a transverse weld and cut at the other to form one or more integral handles. As shown in Fig. 1 a length of seamless tube has a fold at each side and is welded at intervals along its length at tines 3a and 3b. The handles are formed and a bag detached from the length of tube by a cut between tines 3a and 3b and punching out the portion 4. An alternative method of folding and punching out the tube is shown in Fig. 2.
