Abstract

964,725. Tool-holders. STOCKHOLMS KARDMETALL-MANUFAKTUR A.B. Dec. 6, 1961 [Dec. 10, 1960], No. 43616/61. Heading B3B. A tool-holder 1 with a replaceable cutting tip 2 has the latter secured in a recess by a clamping member 3. The stem 4 of the clamping member is drawn into the holder for clamping by a wedge screw 5 which intersects an opening in the stem. A chip-breaker 18 may be provided on the nose of the clamping member, or, an intermediate adjustable member with chipbreaker may be provided between the head of the clamping member and the tip (see Fig. 3).
